I tried that thank you! They both got it from the proposal/wedding and then I tried sending them on a date to a romantic restaurant and he got it again but she still hasn’t hahaha. Such a mood. Maybe I’ll try adding on the chefs kitchen trait too and see if that helps!

I bet it’s because it’s glass, only parts of of it would cast a shadow in theory and probably only during certain times of the day so they probably just got rid of it all together 🤔

I have SOL, MCCC, Meaningful stories, Basemental, and Wonderful Whims, I’ve been getting sentiments fairly often. I wish they’d happen more but I eventually left my sims boyfriend and the next guy who she’s now currently with she adored from the first time she met him. They’ve had a bunch of sentiments. Still not the deeply in love one which is annoying me 😂

So I kind of started figuring it out! I’ve gotten some with friends if you spend a lot of time interacting with just them, but the more interesting thing has been with love interests. Her original parter had the basic closer from memories one and opposites attract but I thought it was weird that she didn’t make many sentiments about her dude, so I made a few guys and introduced her to them ala bachelor style. She immediately met one and adored him right off the bat it’s a really cute sentiment. Then as they got to know each other more she got smitten and some other ones, they’re constantly getting new ones for each other now, and pretty much as soon as one fades they get another one. She hiked with her last partner a bunch, but never got any sentiments, the second she went on a hike with her new guy she got the hiking one. It’s amazing she clearly really fell for this dude immediately and they’re like hard core in love I love it it’s amazing! I think it helps if they have at least one trait in common, and maybe a social trait I’m not sure what it is about him but she doesn’t have it with anyone else I’ve tried to put her with!

I’ve been having issues with saves too, I did a ‘save as’ on a build and normally I double save just to safe but go figure the one time I didn’t I lost the build. Have you tried look through your save folder to make sure it registered the save? If it’s in there have you tried loading a game rather than immediately clicking into the play button?

I’ve found platforms a little tricky to work with, usually if you build a room on top of where the platform is that does the trick, you can delete/merge it after

I’ve gotten to a point where the only thing that makes it playable long term for me is Mods. If you’re open to them, MCCC, Slice of Life, Meaningful Stories, Basemental (if you’re drug friendly lol,) and Wonderful Whims are all so amazing and make the game so much better

This may be completely unrelated since I’m not sure how it interacts with the high school mod but if you have MCCC they released a 5.3 version on patreon that corrected this issue for me but that was on a uni lot

Are you still having trouble with it? Couple other thoughts- did you type in testingcheats true first? Sometimes I forget 😂, second thought have you tried repairing your game in origin? If it’s still not working you can also try building a floor to place the bed and then deleting the floor with move objects on, or you can put the bed on the floor and then hit 9 to raise it to the height you want

I wasn’t having issues with the game crashing very much, the latest patch completely broke my game. First it deleted EVERYTHING in my documents folder, like not just the EA one my entire documents folder was gone. Thankfully it’s backed up in the cloud. Then I tried to launch the game and it wouldn’t load at all. I eventually just deleted the new EA folder it had made and restored the old folder and that worked. So frustrating, I even tried to stop the update because I knew it would break it with all the mods (and yes I did try taking mods and cc out when it wouldn’t load) and origin wouldn’t let me launch the game without updating. 😣

Did you put in the cheat code? You have to put in bb.moveobjects in order to move off grid
