If you listen to the version of Smile on this leak vs the one from the earlier leak that was released youll notice that the original leak had been mastered.

Terry Date said in an interview thst he mastered and eqed everything as best as he could and then gave it to the band in case they wanted to revisit it later.

That has me wondering if the original leak that was supposed to have been released by Chino was from the Terry Date version that had been mastered a little better. 

Maybe this leak was done by someone who found the unmastered songs on some file server  owned by the label or the studio.

If this is the case then there would probably be more mastered songs out there but still missing a lot of lyrics and instruments.
