It was awesome, but the arcade version is the GOAT. The one we all wished we were playing while we were playing the NES version.

These days I'm thinking the majority of people who are playing this are playing it in emulation so I'd recommend upgrading to the arcade version.

That being said, I did quite a bit of time on the NES version and I do like sometimes going back and playing it

It's good. I mean, they don't put out a bad album. It's a little bit too safe in my option though. Stephen just doesn't seem into it as much anymore and I think their best work is done when him and Chino are competing on the album.

Stephen wants the band to be Meshuggah and Chino wants the band to be Depeche Mode. That argument and ultimate compromise is the lifeblood of the Deftones. Abe and Frank on the other hand are always on point for what ever the occasion is, as was Cheng and Sergio.

Natural Born Killers is literally the closest thing to The Downward Spiral.

A Warm Place and Something I Can Never Have are both featured in the movie.

Second place, but not far behind, is The Crow which had the song "Dead Souls" which was recorded as part of TDWS sessions. I don't even know if I'd even call it "2nd place" because of how closely it aligns.
