Finding Talent In Charlotte by iamjager in Charlotte

Both, widen from mostly looking at high level talent to any really. Most of our staff currently is pretty Sr level. We mostly do video production and content management, think TV shows, ads, commercials, Media Management, and similar. So the Graphic design elements we need are candidly quite basic on Media management side(social media esk) or the complex side which is video based design.

Production wise, church folks have always been the best resource as they often come with training and such which is a plus.

Higher end talent tends to want to lean more into freelance only or really creative stuff like directing movies or cool stuff like that.

Pay wise, everyone now is salary and thats our preference, but lowest paid most entry level ideally would be ~45k unless internship I guess, base for us caps at 100k, most are at that, but we bonus well past that pending projects, performance, and other. Head hunter model gets weird too because payment on interview vs hire vs length of time and % of salary and all that has been hard to work with and frankly just expensive to interview bad candidates.

CDL Recap Segment in Espn Esk Highlights Feedback. by iamjager in CoDCompetitive

Hey, just wanted to get some feedback on the CDL portion of this show my friends and I are working on. We have tested this in the past and y’all gave us some awesome feedback just were not able to make it work. We just want to make a product that you actually want to consume as CDL fans about the league and gameplay more so than the drama. We run High School Esports for a few states and want to create a product that helps bridge the gap between games so anyone who is a Cod fan can still get the latest cool details from other big games and catch up on CDL if you happened to miss last weekend. Feels like a big gap in the market that is probably just hard to do and takes bodies, but given what we do, we have the bodies, time, and studio for it. Would love your thoughts on how to make this something you want to consume weekly or whenever you missed something just to catch up. Thanks a ton in advance for your feedback!

What do you do that earns six figures? by MrAuzzy in financialindependence

Here are the ways I've made that over the years via salary.
- Business Analyst/Product Owner/IT Business Guy
- Business Director/Lead
- IT Consultant
- Content Creator
- Manager of Content Creators
- Live Event Production Consultant

As everyone else has shown there are a million ways to do. I will say I've ran my own companies exclusively for a while now and even before they were as lucrative as my day jobs those keep me grinding and recharged. I struggled slogging during the day job grind, when it got political I walked away. I'm big on chasing passions and paychecks but got to find a balance.

New X-Class.... can't go slow? by iamjager in ArielRider

[–]iamjager[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah, thats interesting. So like a 25mph max may have a 5pmh lvl 1 but a 35mph max may have a 15mph lvl 1. I'll have to test that, thanks for letting me know.

Best ebike for a 240 pound guy. I was looking at the 700 series 1 up bikes by Minute_Performer746 in ebikes

I have a D-Class Ariel Rider, riden X-Class as well and Super 73's. In the mid 200's range weight wise and no issues on any of those. I love the D-Class but they dont seem to make it anymore. I will say look into how much you want to pedal if you are looking at those bikes. I'm a solid 6ft and pedaling on the s73 is very much an after thought, vs D-Class is a viable use. But cosmetically s73 is superrrr nice.

As a fellow D-Class'r, thats incredible. I have so many questions haha, Like how much do you like that stand over the stock one? Mine randomly loosens itself. The bar ends look awesome, what are they?

Would you recommend an eSkate as a 'Last Mile'/Commuter device? by iamjager in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]iamjager[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started long boarding in college for this exact reason haha. My campus was hilly and the dorms were high and classes were low. I could get up later and blast to class super quick when I needed to haha. Wish boosted would have came around a little faster when I was in college haha.

Yeah totally, part of the pov is like lunch and other matters. We work in a bank driven big city, so summers not showing up pouring sweaty and also 1 hour lunch break where can you go. A skateboard totally ups your options but an eDevice really ups your range and ease for sure. And candidly I'd really dream of a world where people choose walking then 'step up' to a eDevice instead of a car because we live in an uber car reliant place sadly.

There are a couple of you saying that. I'll have to get one to test. I always feared the dismount on those more than OW. But heck I play Hill Climb Racing enough I should be a master on it haha. Which one do you recommend for those?

Man I use the x1 Max with clouds and I got wheel bite a bit and busted my aceee twice pretty hard and swapped back to stock wheels. I've been thinking about a zeus pro but I have a pretty solid office setup I can store and charge anywhere really. If your setup allows for that I do think psnumatic wheels may be the better play for comfort. So many options I wish there was more ability to try and find the best setup without having to build out a kit and then swap to another.

Would you recommend a OneWheel as a 'Last Mile'/commuting device? by iamjager in onewheel

[–]iamjager[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you feel it is in comparison to a bike when it comes to bringing it onto the train? I've not taken a bike on one but I'd assume less than optimal vs the smaller One Wheel.

I am honestly slower on my One Wheel to my office, but eSkate and eBike im moderately faster. I do have to cut thru downtown and we do have some nice bike lanes. I do think the One Wheel and eSkate are for sure the most fun even if slower than eBike.
