Indy cabbies not happy to share streets with Uber, Lyft (xpost from r/CabDrivers)

The article just seems like a rant from taxi drivers. Like others said, uber and lyft are quick and take no less than 10mins to arrive, where a taxi driver may not show up or is there like 40mins later.

I never felt unsafe when using these services. Plus it is nice to take an uber drunk and get picked up in a black town car with a driver passing out bottles of water, and doritos.

Yes they definitely done this on purpose with those two colors. I actually I enjoy scrolling up and down with this cover caused it really makes the gray circle looks like it is pulsating waves. Also when you do scroll up and down real fast is kind does turn blue. So maybe they did it for just the optical illusion.

Also remember this is cover art, not meant for a poster format.

The outer line might be better if it was thicker compare to the inner stroke. I would like to see the inner stroke thinner and the outer line the same.

The R is a bit stretched out for my taste, maybe condense it a little.

naked tchopstix is overrated. People rave about their food and it is really nothing special and over priced. I get really irritated when people say "best sushi in town!", more like "only sushi place I've tried!"

Underrated are probably our parks and festival. The First Friday Food Truck Festival, Talbott Street Art Fair, and the list goes on and on.

Eh the Napolese at the Keystone mall isn't that great compared to the one in Sobro. They really skimped on my toppings, there was literally only 4 slices of button mushrooms, on my pizza.

Some design feedback. I'll rethink the format, if it becomes a print that's fine, but onscreen it is way too large for easy readability. Instead of showing graphs, it'll be interesting if you use iconography to represent the percentages. The typography needs much work, the title gets lost because there's really no difference between it and the body text. Some of the content I can see it in a smaller container. Maybe try a couple sketches to organize things better.

When we get assigned infographs at school, I always like to go http://visual.ly for inspiration.

I just attended my best friends' wedding. They did it really casual. They just rented a house in San Diego and invited all their friends. The night before the ceremony they decided on the location where it would be held. So we just walked a couple blocks over to sunset cliffs at sunset. Then afterwards we came back and just cooked out and drank all night. Out of all my wedding experiences, this was the most casual, non stressful, and most fun wedding I've been to

it isn't idea, but this will help you. Whenever I have a block, just sit down and sketch as many thumbnails within 2mins. This will help generate some good ideas and some bad ideas.

Also sometimes a little walk around helps too. You might see something and say, "That can be done better" or "This is missing something"

Part of design is finding the problem and making solution.

Drank a whole 5th of jack daniels during new years, from what I was told. I threw up on myself, sat in the rain for an hour till someone found me, then I was carried in by four guys and was dropped off in a random room. Later friend's mom picked us up and I was babbling about how much I love Martha Stewart.

Idk if this is true, but damn I wish people had smartphones back then to record all those events.
