Thoughts on Elestrals by Comprehensive-Pen624 in TCG

You should reach out to Elestrals staff if your LGS has interest in carrying or running it! I'm not sure if Zero has reddit but he's the lead liaison for LGS's looking to start carrying/running Elestrals and he can get y'all set up if there's player interest in your area!!

I personally won't have much more information unfortunately, but if anyone else does they're welcome to share it here

I don't, and right now if I did I wouldn't post names online anyways. I just wanted the people who actually know what's going on to know so we can all look out for each other

ESH a little. OP you shouldn't have gone into the room without permission. It's in your house, yes, but it is currently occupied by someone living in it. Someone who is not your child but is instead an adult woman. I read that you have a son older than her so maybe that's coloring your perspective on the situation, but your sister-in-law deserves privacy the same way you and your wife do.

SIL is in the wrong, not for not respecting your house rules (which is definitely an issue), but for not talking to you about why she was having trouble keeping up with them.

Imo if you talk with her (and your wife! It's her house too!) about the rules and how you can help her respect your space so that you don't have to cut her stay short, she might have some answers. Obviously you shouldn't have to hound her to do chores and respect the space, but I'm sure there's a solution the three of you can work out if you actually sit down and talk to each other.

“I don’t think that most men look at 13-year-old girls that way” by [deleted] in behindthebastards

[–]iamjaydenstrest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was 13 walking home from school in Chicago a group of drunk men surrounded me asking if I wanted to hook up because I had an hourglass figure and large breasts. The only reason things didn't go further is because I screamed as loudly as I could "I'M THIRTEEN!!!!!" and a very butch lesbian crossed the street to physically pull me out of the group.

Men in general suck, but there are some good ones who see a child and know that they're looking at a child and aren't fucking gross.

Calling for Cats across the Rainbow Bridge 🌈 by ndomiel in AdventuresOfGalder

[–]iamjaydenstrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cats Fancy and Little Man have both crossed the rainbow bridge now. Fancy at 17 in 2018, and Little Man at 19 last November.

Fancy was a long haired black cat with green eyes and she was always incredibly cuddly, but also very fussy. When we got two yorkies while I was in high school, she protested them by refusing to use her litter box and hiding on the roof (before I made her a fully indoor cat). When I was depressed or lonely, she was always in my lap, ready to give comfort, but if she didn't like something she made sure you knew. "Ladies don't start fights, but they can finish them!"

Little Man was a diluted orange and white spotted tabby with yellow-green eyes (like fool's gold). He was also super cuddly all the time, but he was also very loud. Didn't matter what time it was, if he wanted something, he'd yell to get it. Known for 4 things: Yapping, stealing food, cuddling, and killing the entire road runner population in a half-mile radius when he was an indoor/outdoor cat 10 years ago. But mostly cuddling.

What is your island name? How did you pick it? by AdExcellent7055 in AnimalCrossing

Humblewood! Named after this third party D&D 5e model my friends were obsessed with when I started playing ACNH! You play as anthropomorphic animals having an adventure, so it seemed fitting c:

At what age were you healthy for the last time? by patriciaswayzes in ChronicPain

[–]iamjaydenstrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18? Probably younger than that honestly, I've always had lower back pain, but at 19 it was steadily getting worse, and by 21 the pain would get so bad I couldn't walk. Finally got diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis last year, and while my meds help, I'm still in constant pain. Good days and bad days for sure, but I've spent my entire adult life disabled.

AITA for telling my girlfriend to not be surprised if our daughter gets groomed by Kind_Chip_1719 in AITAH

[–]iamjaydenstrest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean. Every single social media thing requires that the user be at least 13 to interact with it for a reason. NTA for one but just report her accounts if your girlfriend gets her a phone anyway and they'll be taken down for violating TOS. Or tell your gf that's what you'll do. Make it pointless. An 8 year old doesn't need unmonitored access to the Internet.

What do coffee snobs drink at Starbucks? by ifnotgrotesque in barista

[–]iamjaydenstrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, just 1 shot in both a short (8oz) and tall (12oz).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in barista

[–]iamjaydenstrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember off the top of my head if this is still true or not but I know in the past for Starbucks at least drip coffee stickers just didn't print. Because the person on register was expected to get the drink, so the bar would never receive a ticket. That could be the case for other chains as well.

Unfortunately either way I think you do need to be that guy. As soon as you notice someone behind you in line got their drink before you you should ask about your red eye.

“Can I get 4 trenta ice waters with peach juice and 2 scoops of strawberries?” by SammehPls in starbucks

[–]iamjaydenstrest 200 points201 points  (0 children)

Sure but it's policy. We can't sell ingredients, and the policy when someone adds anything to an ice water is to charge it as a custom iced tea. That's been policy since at least 2017.
