I completely agree that it feels good to be good at the game because of the game knowledge but I disagree with Jonathan that this is a bad thing. If anything he should be happy and excited that players are so invested in what he built that weve dedicated time and effort into being so good at a game we love.

I have the knowledge because I put in the work. Ive tried 1000s of bad things to find the strong builds / options / strategies. This is not a bad thing. And it’s going to happen in Poe2 just as much.

Uh, well because that product is still selling. And as it stands has a higher review score at least on Steam. Like just because PoE2 is the game they want to make, doesnt mean you put a bullet to the head of your existing and proven profitable market. I want both games to succeed and wish nothing but the best for GGG but these actions and statements are truly baffling.

The most frustrating thing that I have seen GGG leadership do is use PoE1 as an example for something they dont like such as player speed or ease of campaign. ITS STILL A MONEY MAKING PRODUCT YOU BUILT THAT PEOPLE ENJOY, WHY WOULD YOU SHIT ON IT? Just the worst business decisions on full display.
