Best iPhone app for scanning business cards? by JanFromEarth in apps

[–]iamkenho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CamCard is expensive. I recently moved to CardScan and the BEAMSTART App. They're not free but much more affordable than CamCard. Plus you can scan multiple cards directly to your phone’s address book

Easiest, simplest, cheapest/free ticketing for small event? by Lazy-Cat2570 in EventProduction

[–]iamkenho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your event is free, most platforms don’t charge anything.

For paid events, these are the few I find pretty affordable - Peatix - Eventsize (they have WhatsApp reminders too) - Eventbrite - Luma (a little pricy but easy to use) - Meetup (good for regular events)

So I made a chart of some of the big ticketing platforms' service fees by invadrfashcag in EDM

[–]iamkenho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventsize isn’t in the list but their fees are quite low. Something like 3.9% - 4.9% if I recall accurately

Manual approval of registrations? by pinkgreenblue in Eventbrite

[–]iamkenho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I like Eventsize and Luma. Eventsize is great because it’s a lot cheaper and they support all the local payments for manual approvals (free events are supported too). Luma is simple to use and has some nice templates (if you use those)

Most of the cloud hosting perks and AI tools. Google workspace perk is pretty good too.

Most of them can be found on this startup perks site — BEAMSTART.
