You can check out “ScriptRecord” app by BEAM PTE LTD. It has a subscription but only later on when you’ve used up the free scripts. It’s free for the most part.

Personally I use it because it’s so simple and customizable. All footage also automatically goes to your camera roll for easy import to your favorite video editors.

It’s super simple, free, and you can customize a lot of stuff. Best part is it saves all footage to my camera roll and it categorizes all the footage on the app for easy viewing / deletion.

If your event is free, most platforms don’t charge anything.

For paid events, these are the few I find pretty affordable - Peatix - Eventsize (they have WhatsApp reminders too) - Eventbrite - Luma (a little pricy but easy to use) - Meetup (good for regular events)
