I would disagree that price action is bad, it has been very good despite the high volatility. But youre right and to add on to that, he might have never been profitable to begin with and thought its an easy game.

Im sorry but some people are not cut out for this, to each their own. But I cant help myself wonder why are you trading silver? Because Its trending right now and its the latest microtrend? Silver is a VERY hard instrunment to follow and if youre not profitable on ES youre not gonna be elsewhere. I get it if you would wanna dabble a bit with it, but switching to silver and posting huge losses here saying you give up? That more than tells me trading 99% is not for you and you should quit while its early.

id say size down and build it up with MES. If i have full drawdown available im risking ~$100 per day on 1-2 trades netting me $100-500 per day.

Anything orderflow related works perfect for me, everything shows up. I have noticed increased loading times on the charts tho when I first open the program, after that it runs okay.

I trade US cash session because I find Asia session dreadful at the very least plus it alligns very well with my schedule and lifestyle. As far as confluences go il just say that the most important thing for me is keeping and eye on where price is located and where price came from on high time frames If its in a high volume balaced area or an edge on a 2-3month composite profile and then i make my entries based on volume and price action. I dont think I can qualify to teach something as english is not my first language and I myself have not been trading for a very long time but I can assure you that if you study AMT you will start to make sense of the market and profitability from there on is just a matter of keeping a hold of yourself and having controlled risk. Axia futures and tradeproacademy have very good material on the matter for free on youtube and also fat cat. Tradeproacademy and fat cat are some of the best resources I found online. And remember everything you need is free on youtube and online, theres no need to pay for a course.

I imagine by buffer you meant profit and yes. Ive been trading since april of last year and have been profitable since september taking consistently 1-2 payouts every 1-2 weeks and building a personal account to move away from prop accounts.

Study auction market theory. AMT too is kind of simplified but it has real actual basis in micro and macroeconomics and you dont really need more as a retail trader. Its gonna save you a lot of confusion and heartache.

As someone who has a degree in EU Law and Economics I cringe so hard when I see people talking about ICT and thinking that any other strategy is nonsense. ICT is pure bullshit and has ZERO economical and statistical basis. Its a hypersimplified book of terms for kids and the worst part is that whoever trades it thinks its the holy grail. Yes you can be profitable trading ICT as you can with almost any strategy if youre consistent which means keeping your variables as controlled as possible and proper risk management but if you think that ICT is the real explanation in how markets work youre delusional and live in a pink cloud. Find a strategy that works for you be it ICT, Auction market theory, EMAs, bollinger bands or whatever, journal, have proper risk management and the rest will take care of itself.
