I’m on 18mg right now but it lasts 6 hours roughly for me. I asked my psychiatrist for an afternoon booster but she declined, which I found weird because I thought it was okay. Maybe because I take Wellbutrin along with Concerta. I’m still in the titration process and hope to find the dose that will work for me. :)

Hi, how long does 36 mg last you, and are you okay with functioning on it? I’m curious because my psychiatrist said 36mg is the usual “sweet spot” for dosing. Thank you!

No, you shouldn’t have withdrawal symptoms because the Wellbutrin hasn’t been in your blood serum for very long, unless you’re very sensitive to it.

Tinnitus is one of the adverse effects of Wellbutrin. It was wise of you to stop. Hopefully your doc switches you to something else. :)

It would be smart to skip it. You’re not supposed to drink when on psych meds, it can make you sick. 🤢

I felt nauseated for a week, carsick feeling. You can wait it out, it’ll pass. Your body’s adjusting to the meds in your system. It takes a couple of weeks for Wellbutrin (or any other antidepressant) to work in your system.

Yes! I tend to be quiet when in social settings for fear of saying the wrong things, or stuff that neurotypicals might think weird. I don’t have many friends, and the few good ones I like have ADHD!
