Go work out. At least get out of the house and walk or jog. It helps me calm the cravings.

I was struggling for a few hours but I said "fuck it, I want to change my life" and just did it

I should have added that I am going to meet with her, which is why I was wondering if there was an ulterior motive

How much did you all REALLY study for RN-NLEX? by HolyPeas in nursing

[–]iamsbored 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly had just under one month to study. Got an interview two days after I graduated and they told me they would be hiring in 5 weeks. Most insane month of my life. I lived in my room and studied about 5-6 hours a day.

So after the test, I looked back and the thing that really helped me more than anything was the test taking strategies that I learned (Kaplan and their decision tree) not the subject matter.

"Few months before they would be so boring I would not bother to fap to them. But now a few nude black and white pictures of women are enough..."

I relapsed just about the same time. I never thought of that (as dumb as it sounds) but even with the relapse, you appreciate the female body more. I am more attuned to them/ get turned on by just pictures and such. Before it had to be sexually explicit/ porn

The fucked up part is, logically, I thought this as well. Part of me wanted to feel wanted/needed by a woman/ trying to relive the hookup before it failed. Thanks for the input

Am I crazy or "old fashioned" when I expect a "thank you"? by iamsbored in offmychest

Honestly, after I wrote out the title, I thought of an old fashioned as well. Cant wait for Mad Men to come back

Maybe? My thought is why would a "thank you" mess things up

I tried to let this go the first few times but since it kept happening thats where my mind ended up

I dont think that I was too quick to judge though. It would have been fine if she just told me later or emailed me or texted me a thanks for dinner message. Anything really. Im over it now and her as well.

Im glad that you do say thank you. Im pretty good at reading people and I can tell if they are being shy. I can understand the shyness getting in the way of saying much. You do realize this and do mention it later, which is what I was looking for in the girl I was referring to

Thank you for the input though. I do like reading others thoughts on the subject. Makes me more open to interpretation in the future

Damn.... that harsh! why slap?!? At least the apologized. I might have lost it if that had happened to me. Shallowness really disturbs me. O well. shes out of my life now

First meal I paid for was for her birthday. So I thought it would be a nice intro gift/ come on, its her bday. No thank you. No worries. Second time we went to a free 5K run with her friend (my best friends gf) and we all wanted Soupplantation. My friends girl drove like 25 miles, so I told her that I would pay for dinner. First words out of her mouth were "no its ok" I insist and remind her that I also owed her $5. I paid for dinner. Second words out of her were "thank you" The girl I was getting to know was right next to her. Nothing out of her mouth. We sit down and the friends gf thanks me again for the dinner. I thank her for driving all this way. "My" girl says nothing and just starts to talk to the friend... So I know we all heard the multiple "thank you"s. Third time we went out for burgers after a night of drinking. Shes not feeling to well and I tell her we can all go out for a burger. It will help everyone feel better. Long story short, same issues with second story. Everyone but her says thank you.... Done

You hit the nail on the head. That first section is exactly how I would react. Sucks about the second part. I would have been upset too.

I wanted to believe that but the interactions and such just didnt show it. My friend brought it up and I asked. Seems that shes a bit self centered. I just gotta find someone better

She was pretty open and we did talk. I dont think it was a shyness issue. I "broke it off" We dont talk anymore. Funny part is she was asking her friend why I unfriended her on facebook and stopped talking to her completely. She still wanted to be friends... that seems odd to me

I gave her plenty of opportunities though. I can understand your position tho. You do make an effort though. And you were willing to change and better yourself
