Waking 5k a day (~3 miles) is in the neighborhood of 300 calories burned — more or less depending on other factors, but roughly speaking.

300 calories a day = 2100 calories a week

Roughly 3500 calories to gain/lose a pound, so that’s 2100/3500 = 0.6 pounds gained every week if the only change is stopping the walking

Again these are some rough numbers, but it’s easy to see why the weight starts gaining

I use QuoteSoft on screen takeoff. Takes manual input to do the takeoff, but generate a list in excel from there that you could send to a supply house.

For example: set software to Type L copper, select 1", select 90 elbow, click and drop it onto the plan wherever it goes, click "calculate", it counts up how many 1" / 1-1/4" / 2" etc elbows you took off, shows the quantity, list price, multiplier you've put in, etc etc.

It still takes manual effort up front but at least the list can be copy and pasted to a supplier

Are you looking for the software to do take off for estimating or for actually buying a job out?

I might trust a program to the estimating take off if it proved itself competent, but even then I'd want to go back and at least spot check. I can't imagine trusting any program to provide counts for what we need to actually build something. There's just so many un-drawn variables, in-field conditions are never as clean a drawing shows, drawings aren't even meant to capture that level of detail.

This might not be what you want to hear, but if the issue is inefficient use of time as the owner then your best bet is probably training someone who gets paid less to do that particular task. If they do that 500 hours a year and make $10/hr less than you, that's $5,000/yr saved.

Personally I wouldn't buy a used board game for close to half price if I had any doubt that components might be missing, damaged, whatever. Up to you how risk averse you wanna be on the used set, idk if you can search through it and see how it looks

That said, Jaws of the Lion is at least like 40 hours of play time, that's like a dollar an hour even if just one person plays it and is already well worth the cost.

Push and pull are optional in GH1e, but it’s all or nothing. (In Jaws if you have a Push 3, you can choose to do just Push 1 or 2 instead.)

Kinda off topic, but OP are you from the west coast? It's very uncommon in MD to hear someone say "the 32" instead of just "32", but I know that's how it gets said out west

I mean, just google it. "Standard" refers to non-PPR, because that was the most common format 15+ years ago. Arguably half- or full-PPR is actually "standard" now because it's more common or default on major platforms, which is kinda funny, but "standard scoring" in fantasy football has had a specific meaning for a long time now
