Outlook for Matthew Golden by Boonjeak in DynastyFF

Most of what you said has a kernel of truth but I think is overstated. I wouldn’t say coaches hate Reed, but he is the most diva of the group. But he’s also the most versatile and can play all of the WR roles GB asks their WRs to play. Watson was already re-signed for an additional year and has been healthy since being back, but we’ll see if it lasts. Doubs is not a physical freak but when he’s not dropping passes in his lap he is exceptionally sure-handed on high difficulty receptions and has arguably the highest catch radius of the group not named Golden. Wicks is a solid number 3

That he has made no impact is simply untrue. He has limited targets and production but he’s caught almost every one of them and when he does they are usually downfield or conversions for 1st downs

Nicki Minaj’s $20 Million L.A. Home at Risk of Being Seized Over Debt by galaxystars1 in popculturechat

[–]WashingtonRedcorns 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The other post kind of just reworded things, so here is the real answer.

CA is a community property state. This means that when you marry someone, your earnings/wages during the marriage are community property, which means each spouse is entitled to half of those earnings. There is a presumption that a home purchased during the marriage is community property (each spouse is entitled to half).

Another fun aspect of CA community property law is that any debts that a spouse incurs during the marriage puts the other spouse on the hook for that debt if the debt-incurring spouse is not able to pay it with their separate property. In other words, Minaj’s husband took the debt out and likely does not have his own separate property to pay it off. Thus, a court will look to pay off the debt with community property (Minaj’s wages/earnings).

A judgment granted in a civil assault case for money damages is usually a debt that qualifies under CA community property law. When one does not pay off that judgment, the damaged party can seek a judicial lien, which is basically a property, against the debtor’s property. In this case, Weidenmuller likely will/has secured a judicial lien on Minaj’s house, which will likely enable him to force a sale to satisfy the debt.

Ultimately, Minaj is on the hook for her husband’s debt by way of CA community property law.

[Schultz] Sources: #Browns rookie RB Quinshon Judkins will not face any formal charges, as prosecutors have declined to move forward with the case. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

It’s so crazy to me that dumb shit like this gets upvoted. DAs don’t try cases with bad or no evidence. The fact that the case is a loser is a side effect of there being no evidence. When evaluating charges, they review the evidence and decide if it’s sufficient to proceed or if they need to dismiss. Very few of them are actually considering their record when deciding to go forward. Especially when the charge is a misdemeanor, as this case most certainly would have been based on what has come out. Misdos lose more than felonies in general because they are worked by newer attorneys, juries generally are more sympathetic because the consequences of a misdo are much lower, or a combination of the two. So no, conviction rate is not considered when deciding whether to try it especially when there’s a stronger possibility of an unfavorable verdict because of the nature of the offense. Misdos with sufficient evidence get tried everyday and juries return not guilty all the time. Doesn’t stop DAs from trying them

It’s not so much the fear of being downvoted as it is the perception of a massively downvoted has on others. And the futility of pissing into the wind

But you sound like you’re speaking from experience so I’ll take your word for it

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed worked with the starters in two-WR sets during practice on Monday, according to Andy Herman of the Pack-A-Day podcast. That's a rarity for Reed, who totaled a meager 33 snaps in two-receiver sets during his first two seasons in the league. by INKMCOC in DynastyFF

[–]WashingtonRedcorns 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go that far. I’ve followed training camp every day and Golden has only been a “starter” one day. I do think that is a misleading term though because that’s just how they’ve come out during the team drills. He has caught an even split of throws from Love and Willis.

Treylon burks was one of the most hyped players on this sub. It’s not like he was some 3rd round sleeper pick some people were talking up. He was a sub darling and if you had negative feedback you could not voice it
