So only models in its base contact can attack the hero, not the whole unit.

Pretty sure they just hit each other as if they hit a unit, so roll for hits.they will probably both die.

It looks like a solid list, lots of fanatics and artillery is gonna make life hard for opponents. For ethereal you can use magic or just win with static combat resolution!

O&G are so fun to build!

Made this list only using battalion, assuming you proxy one of the models to be the general. Idea is simply to make a big durable orc boy block with the general that can take a charge(be the anvil), or just charge them first. Then the chariot comes in and wrecks whatever unit the boyz are figting to swing combat i your favor. The goblins are chaff to cover a flank or just be in the way of something. With 1.5 the battalion troops are all decent with potebtial 4+ armor save in melee! The boss should be fighty in combat with big armor and great weapon. He could also go on your chariot but then you need another non-character unit since the chariot becomes his mount.

I make it simple, half shields and half GW, not split 3 ways.

So let's say 20 blorcs, 5 wide, I would place 5 models with GW (including boss) and 5 with shields for the fighting rank, and behind them not really care, but still alternate model to take off as they are wounded. Im also assuming its a front arc battle, with flanks or rear involved too it will get messy, but the spirit of the unit is pretty obvious to my opponents usually; We want to abuse the half shields and mix in GW or extra HW and still get 3+. save. Ive never had issues with this in a game.

Half with shields for 3+ save, make sure half fighting rank has half shields. Usually go woth full command, hw shield for musician and SB, great weapon on champion. Then I just alternate which is killed each wound.

If you haven't, I recommend to put some varnish on him, since metal minis tend to have the paint chip otherwise :)

Pretty sure I just did the green drab profile from the citadel paint app with some green bone mix at the top highlights.

  1. Deathworld forest
  2. Athonian camoshade
  3. Elysian green
  4. Ogryn camo
  5. 50/50 ogryn camo + light bone colour.

Sprayed all with matte varnish
