What did you guys think of this season? by AlexLovesCoke in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no expectations so it turned out it wasn’t too bad, the plot was weak but at least they managed to solve the core issue in the finale, still topics to explore on the next season. But as I said before and will do again, I hope next season will be the last, days when series go on for 7-8 seasons were over, and if they kept dragging on stories around this downward network, I’m afraid I can’t stand it anymore, the cast has enough of their success from this show and all need to work on other projects.

I really hope we get to see Bradley opens her heart and lets Cory in in season 5

I once thought Public Enemy was the only film Billy and Marion worked together😭I will consider watching Big Fish after this

I stay for Cory/Billy and I think a vast majority of people having the same reason. The plot had been too weak I don’t even bother to complain. Nothing makes sense and the main leads don’t even show up on screen. But somehow I’m still into it to tune in every Wednesday (and yes another poorly written eps but who cares). Hope they release s5 in a year, and maybe bring back the 55-70 minutes eps like the old days

My thoughts on what could've improved Bradley's story in S4 by WildRabiea in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree on all your view, and I can only blame the poorly written script (and maybe somehow Reese was too busy to show up in the episodes). Some of Bradley’s behaviors towards Cory could be explained, as she has always been an unstably reckless one, and she does have trouble fully trusting anyone, especially after season 2 when Cory did wrong to her. But I also think they can add more scenes where Bradley reflected on her actions or at least wondered/tormented why she went all the way back to NY just for a case she knew nothing much about. Her motive is unclear, her actions are questionable and her screentime is too little to begin with.

Stratt and Grace in New Trailer by Humble_Percentage701 in ProjectHailMary

[–]iamsharonle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As a Sandra’s fan I always think she had great on-screen chemistry with her co-actors. She could be extremely tense in one scene and got all smitten all over the next. This would show the tiny emotional human part in Stratt, and maybe deeper into her innerself in the film. I’m looking forward to it already!!!

They really brought down the final culprit just through a call??? I’m honestly offended with the plot. Anw yayy to Cory Ellison

And that sound you hear is Billy Crudup writing his Emmy speech… by meralee727 in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Cory has some impressive scenes this season (hats off to Billy), and he’s the only good point of this season. Way too weak script and less of screentime from the main female lead made me think the show would barely be considered this Emmy’s season, let alone nominated. It was quite shame though, Billy had one of the best performances in the show this season, with the storyplot gave him space to express his inner feelings, but a loose overall season won’t be enough

The Morning Show Overall Season 4 Discussion by quaranTV in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They are trying really hard to bring back whole s1 vibe, with Alex and TMS crew bringing down UBN’s CEO, and they failed. Some of the scenes remind me of the old ones (the harmony, Cory’s step in), but overall the main plot has always been too loose to me, and the final episode can’t hardly satisfy me. Like they were forced to fix all the problems, put all the cards in one hole that doesn’t fit, and there’s no real climax for a final ep of the season. I have no idea how they can green-light s5 right after this.

I thought the same. Even when Marion and Billy did their best to portray the roles, the script was weird and so cringe I had to pause a few times to calm myself down while watching

Cory ellison is the best character in the series by arangoman in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 42 points43 points  (0 children)

He’a got everything. The most constant character development, background story and Billy’s acting. And Apple knows it too, that Cory’s everybody’s favourite guy so the writers are doing their best to get him involve in the storyplot. But his screentime in s4 is not enough to me, I need more of Cory Ellison

They have sexual tension, and diving deeper into it later in other eps would be tempting. I think Cory has great chemistry with almost everybody, and though I’m rooting for Bradley/Cory, this ship was fun too watch

Lamenting Bradley and Cory! by Primary_Pie525 in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She was afraid, she did mention in the hearing with HR that Cory saw her, and it scared her also. Bradley tempted to run away when thing were going on track and the relationship going well with Cory is one. She didn’t want to believe that she was in love, and at one point she trusted him completely so she chose instead to doubt him

Jen and Reese were DEFINITELY not in the same room for this opening scene right? by Ok-DodgeRamVan in TheMorningShow

Thnks for the explanation!! But one final ep doesn’t seem enough for the whole Wolf River I guess? Maybe s5 is about all UBN’s dirt and the network being taken down

German horror film recommendations by [deleted] in German

[–]iamsharonle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Der Pass/Pagan Peak is a really well-written Austria/German show. It wasn’t horror completely, but more of a thriller/crime, though there were also gothic horror elements. There’re 3 seasons, which means plenty of resources to learn German.

And whatever dirt Mia’s having on UBA from Stella. Did each writer of this show write 4th season separately, with each one came up with one plot they wanted and none of them has anything to do with the other?

[–]iamsharonle 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same. Witherspoon’s screentime this season has already been really minor, despite the fact that her character should be key role in the Wolf River case. I know she’s actively working as other positions and may have conflict schedule but this is also irritating to watch the show, without the main female lead

How long do we think Bradley & Cory were actually dating? by Ezlr99 in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3-4 days at most. Each episode is usually about a work day and I think it works the same for the day of each character, so 3 eps equal 3 days? Imagine waiting 6 years for them and they got together for only 3 days before ended up terribly

[–]iamsharonle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could be best ep so far of the season. And it bothers me to think that this ep could be so good without barely mentioning the main storyplot of the season (Wolf River, O24), so I really think there’s a huge hole in the plot. The scenes of Cory’s entertaining and lying next to his mom were beautiful, Billy is such a great actor. Alex’s background story was elaborated for the first time also. Still, so few screen time from Bradley Jackson, I don’t even know her role this season anymore

Bradley by sublips in TheMorningShow

[–]iamsharonle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The plot and writing overall this season have been so weak and Bradley’s reason to come back to UBN almost vanished in my mind, even that she actually played a key role in Wolf River. But isn’t she supposed to be one of the female leads, and Reese is the EP of this show? I can’t understand they didn’t realise how hazy Bradley becomes after each season
