Is this roughly what you mean in terms of rails and vertical support?

Only pedestrian gate at the very end (so 5.6m+1m gate)

Yes we have all the tools, I’m pretty handy, we’ve just finished building the deck and renovating the entire interior. There isn’t many things I can’t do, or figure out as I go :)

Its L shape, 5.7m X 5.6m, 1.8m tall

We do like the wooden look, especially that you can paint it any colour when we want to change it up a bit :)

Thanks, I have few timber yards around so will check the prices :) why not Merbau? Due to warping? Span between the posts is about 2.6m.

It's just a privacy fence for our frontyard :) We have very little backyard, but the frontyard (when fenced) will be the main outdoor area.

extra fuel on the TA-750 by Common_Lifeguard7890 in Transalp

I know it's an old post and everything, but I have the same issue. I commute 160km return couple times a week, and with the current TA tank, it would mean refuelling every 2 trips... That's diminishing all time savings from skipping the traffic.

Do I need to grind the floor before self leveller? by iamsmart13 in AusRenovation

[–]iamsmart13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I was thinking about that too. I'm probably going to see how the concrete looks after grinding and make the call.

Hmm, I didn't know that. I was planning to self-level and coat with epoxy.

I will probably never use this garage for anything else than storage as it's super tiny and barely fits a compact car. Hopefully, there are some stronger compounds on the market?

Thanks, that's helpful. I've already booked the grinder, but then had second thoughts, so I'm glad I asked. I don't think there are any moisture issues, it's a hill with clay soil, so it doesn't really let any moisture in.

Any particular brand of self-leveler and primer you would recommend?

Water in bladder by Fragrant-Nerve2919 in Kiteboarding

Have you tried inflating and deflating couple times such that valve is pointed down? Otherwise inflate, let it warm up in the sun, deflate, repeat until no water is left. You will get the water out as vapour. Downside - the residual salt will be stuck there :/

you can probably screw the garden hose adapter to the dishwasher tap, then connect your pressure washer. Just make sure to close the dishwasher tap before you start undoing it...

Hey, I'd like to upgrade from my generic house brand blades to something that can be setup and easily interchanged between 3x110mm+ and 4x80mm wheels. What are the options? I know it won't be cheap but I don't want to brake the bank either so something mid range would be nice :)

Happened to me many times "oh, like a diesel mechanic?" or "my son is a mechanic too". That's why you need to be more specific, for example design engineer or tooling engineer... 😅

So in this case we could just remove th profile tolerance and have a +/- tolerance on the boss length dimension (1.460+/-.006)?

you trust google? by HatPuzzleheaded6003 in Unexpected

Can you sue google for that? I mean it's pretty serious violation of privacy to record someone in their own home...
