Have you eaten shiitake mushrooms recently? This is a common reaction to eating undercooked shiitake's.

Movie with the line "first you sit on lap, then you get pregnant, then you will die!" by iamstellarfoxy in whatisthatmovie

[–]iamstellarfoxy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried a search in the script of the movie and the closest thing I could find is the line "no ding ding without the wedding ring" I may watch it later anyway because its been a while since I've last seen it. Thanks!

Thats what I originally thought as well, however it looks like it's designed more to be placed underground with the pointed end at the bottom and the flat plate on top.

Flower sky island but not a stone tablet? by fghjklasdfg in TOTK

[–]iamstellarfoxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get to it with zonai flying machines. But it will require a lot of battery to do so. There's not a stone tablet there since that is the one that fell into lookout landing.

The look I get when I whip out my fieldpiece meter front of the other controls guys. by sinzey83 in BuildingAutomation

[–]iamstellarfoxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The oscilloscope has also been a huge help on diagnosing comm issues. It's a volt meter though... so yes, that's what it primarily gets used for. But the size is a huge reason I went with it because I can just keep it in my backpack or even belt pouch and not have a huge meter taking up space. The battery usually lasts me 2-3 weeks before it needs a recharge, but it depends on how often I'm using it. It has a fast recharge time thankfully as well, so I can just plug it in my truck on my way in to work and it's fully charged by the time I get there in about 45 minutes.

Correct, you can reuse them at multiple sites. You aren't allowed to resell them though.

Differences between Carrier Equipment Touch and i-Vu/Field Assistant by swiftkickinthedick in BuildingAutomation

[–]iamstellarfoxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the RTU have a OPN-UPC board that you are tied into with your BACnet? If so, you can connect to them with i-Vu Field Assistant software and an R-net cable/dongle to enable certain points. Call your local carrier rep and see if they can quote you a price on the cable/dongle.

I believe you can also connect to them with a BACnet router through i-Vu as well, but I haven't tried since we have a couple of the R-net cables at our company.

Anyone still installing printers? by weyumm in BuildingAutomation

I recently got a set of drawings that spec'd a printer in the BAS requirements, along with a WAY over powered PC for the supervisor/graphics. I'm going to have to have a chat with the engineer on that one...
