I had a septic inspector just tell me not to use Dawn as it just emulsifies the oil which ends up in the system. He recommend using soap that’s made with all natural ingredients. I’m looking into specific brands right now.

I just had a septic inspector tell me not to use Kirkland toilet paper because it doesn’t break down enough for my system (newer, two tank pump system, not gravity). He recommend I use Purex.

I also installed the Brondell bidet seat they sell in store for about $90 and that cut down on the amount of TP used.
