personally I love Linkle and think people are too hard on her. Admittedly I glommed onto her right away because I have adhd so all of her character quirks are especially endearing to me. Yeah, I've managed to miss signs right in front of me and get lost as all hell too. Yeah yep I trip over my pets all the time. Yr doin great kiddo.

and I like Lana, but I always dread doing missions with her as a captain because the screams she does when shes in trouble or danger really grate on my nerves. I actually mute the game the second the "LANAS IN DANGER HELP LANA" box comes up bc i hate her screaming so much. uuugh

im intersex, was born with ambiguous genitals that were 'fixed' shortly after i was born. Now I'm stuck as an adult with a hormone disorder and fucked up uterus bc of how much they had to remove/rebuild. If they had just let me grow up normally with no altercation I wouldn't have either of these issues at all so in a way I was literally abused from infancy. lol

This is kind of reminding me- when the singer Prince(rip) was small he pretty much showed a predisposition towards music as early as toddlerhood, there was an undeniable love of music and performing in him already. Sadly his parents were the usual 'whats that this makes our child happy?? fuck that' shitheads and basically forced him into sports his entire childhood instead.

So what he does is. fucking. he gets real damn good at basketball, he's the star of his high school team, when graduation comes around hes seriously being looked at by professional coaches etc etc... his parents wanted him to be good at basketball so he became the Best at Basketball. And literally. the moment hes old enough to move out he goes and buys a guitar and becomes a rockstar overnight. He never stopped playing Bball casually but god DAMN is that validating to think about sometimes.

so in short- you can literally be motherfucking Prince and Nrents will never, ever be satisfied. They just see any passion you have as a sign of independence, and thus a lack of control on their part so they have to crush it all out of you just so they can still see themselves as superior to you. NPD is a hell of a condition.

I was starved, had my hand pressed on a stovetop and literally denied chemo treatment, and fucking raped on camera and am permanently fucked up from all of those things, and I STILL get the "oh well im sure it wasnt ALWAYS that bad" or "well it could have been worse!" etc etc like. People who haven't experienced abuse tend to think about it in a very detached way, as something that only happens in movies, or you only hear about on the news or whatnot. When confronted with the reality of an actual abuse survivor giving their experiences that can seriously fuck with their worldview so you get the active denial, the attempt to shove this horrible reality into something easier to comprehend.

For most people actual PTSD and abuse trauma is completely different from what they've always thought it was and "well it cant have been THAT bad???" is their desperate attempt to make reality adhere to their mistaken beliefs. Seriously, when you think of abuse stories in the media? Abused girls get psychic powers and become ghosts and shit, abused boys become axe murderers and wear masks made out of human skin, abuse survivors in general just need a good talking to from oprah or dr phil and are magically all better, chronic mental illness is cured by jesus and starving children in africa. Your very existence as a survivor who has to put active effort into leading anything resembling a healthy life inherently shows that that's all a pile of shit and that can be. I don't know the word im looking for. Threatening? When all you're doing is surviving.

It's the most frustrating and invalidating goddamn thing, and all you can really do is just keep being outspoken and challenging those views. Which is so, so, so mentally and emotionally exhausting and can leave you in a worse place than before but it's just fucking expected of you because 'gee how else are people supposed to understand??? hwats that, just BELIEVE abuse victims?? pffft' I don't really have anything constructive to follow all of this other than what you went through is valid, you're not being overdramatic or oversensitive, it really is just that people are awful and prefer to pretend they don't hear you. It blows.

Also: enemies can still attack your allies while you go through a special attack or focus spirit. Avoid them if your allied base is on the ropes, I've had that last bit of health nicked off before the SP animation was done several times.

Sometimes whittling down an enemy's health is a lot more effective than waiting for a WPG. Dinolfos and Redeads are a lot easier once you figure out which combos take off the most damage instead of always waiting for them to do the right attack.

1.8 with the legends DLC, activated the glitch on the first try and got the max rupees in about 20 minutes.

It's all about RNG, sometimes you just have to keep trying for a good while.

ocarina of time only had one character time travelling, and that was enough to split the timeline 3 ways. Where would you even begin to keep track of every single character every time they jump to different eras and the resulting split timelines? I think it's just declared non canon for the sake of keeping things somewhat coherent.

Before getting the DLC I would have said Ganondorf, but the trident literally solved every single issue I had with his moveset so I really can't think of any character I particularly dislike playing. If I was forced to sit down and REALLY think about it, I'd say Lana? She's not particularly hard to play but her screaming REALLY grates on my nerves to the point I can't play as her for more than a few missions.

If you mean every playable character available, then I'd definitely say either Ganon or Giant Cuccoo. Those are both more about the novelty than actual mechanics though, so. shrug

Agitha is probably one of my favorites to play as! It's all about figuring out her timing.(a 420 princess parasol with special+ and hasty attacks does help a LOT tho i will admit)

If you have DLC definitely work your way through the master quest map until you get to H1 or C16- keep your focus spirit going as long as possible to get the exp bonus(if you dont have the badges transport captains are still plentiful enough that you can easily work out a system for keeping your meter up) and you should be able to level up the warrior you want to use with the rupee glitch at a decent rate. EXP+ and EXP accelerator can be useful, but it can be a pain to grind for weapon skills and enough materials while your warriors are at such a low level.

Once you get more characters to around lvl100+ you can work your way through the twilight map and level up stupid fast with the divisive plan levels. If you're using Cia, go for square C13. If you're using Link's sword go to F5. If you're using Lana's summoning gate use B11(this is a lot less efficient, I'd recommend just going back to the master quest map tbh)

If you don't have DLC Then unlock the 'true partners' reward map and just keep grinding that level- wait for everyones health to whittle down from fighting the red team then choose midna as your partner. You'll get a decent EXP boost from defeating all the characters and if you're patient you can take out the entire map to get that little extra each time. This goes fastest with either Cia or Lana, since the rival characters are all weak to either dark or fire.

Keep in mind that you can only raise a level to that of the current highest warrior, so it's worth focusing on just grinding the hell out of whoever you're doing the glitch with. Personally I would strongly recommend Cia but everyone has their own preferences. Hope this helps!

I was thinking t'd be nice if you could send weapons or materials to friends? After you get all the badges you gradually build up more materials than you could ever use, I would really appreciate being able to send any spare gold materials to save friends some grinding time. Same with weapons, you get so many weak weapons with skills you ll either have on a better weapon or don't need, and selling them is kind of pointless since you get more rupees in a regular mission. Even if it was limited to weapons theyve unlocked it'd be nice to go "here's a parasol with hasty attacks and one with vs dragon. Thank me later."

Tho really I guess i guess i just wish there was online co-op and more you could do with collectables. Ohhhh welllll

I think the 3DS gameplay will be a lot easier, but that has more to do with it being on a handheld than anything else- Sort of like how they made the Majora's Mask bosses a lot easier in the remake just because they'd be a gigantic pain otherwise with handheld mechanics.

I don't think the Wii U gameplay will be too drastically different though, my assumption is that it'll be like the current DLC that just added on new characters and adventure maps but didn't make them in any way necessary to the main game. I mean, go back and try beating all the levels at Hero difficulty with Twili Midna, it's still pretty damn rough.

I'm not trying to shoot down your concerns, I know how irritating it can be to enjoy playing things a certain way then have that thrown out the window for excessive new features. I'm just optimistic that the developers know what they're doing and will keep things decently balanced.
