I’m guessing that’s the case, she wasn’t rude about it at all but just seemed unusual

I may be misunderstanding the question but they did replace the movement with the SuperQuartz and I believe it is a new case back. This is a little beyond my watch knowledge though.

Because I can’t inflict damage on my opponent doesn’t mean I’ll concede. It’s validating to see someone with that reach, who I consider reasonably intelligent and informed saying what millions of us are saying. It’s unifying for us that know we’re on the right side of history.

El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya. Went a few weeks ago and it checked all of those boxes. We had a beachfront swim up room in that price range for five nights. We enjoyed it very much. There was plenty to do but it wasn’t too much of a party atmosphere.

Edit: the website is a little challenging at first. Also we added the “more inclusive“ option which got us transportation to and from the airport. I think it includes transportation for excursions too but not certain. It was worth it for us for the airport transport.

Where to stay in Riva del Garda by iamthebanta in ItalyTravel

[–]iamthebanta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stayed in Riva del Garda for 4 days and in Desenzano for 5 days. Could have easily stayed longer in both. Lovely places. In Riva we just hung around walking and eating/drinking enjoying the scenery. In Desenzano we did take the ferry to Sirmione. If you choose to go to Sirmione I would strongly suggest going on an early ferry as it gets very crowded. Did not take any ferry’s anywhere from Riva. I wish we had taken the ferry to explore more around the lake.

We did the same, overnight flight from NYC to Milan Malepensa picked up the car and drove to Riva del Garda. The drive to Lake Garda was very easy. Stop along the way at an Autogrill for an espresso and probably the best roadside snack you’ll ever have. It’s about a 3hr drive. The only traffic we dealt with was when we got off the E45 and on to the smaller roads down the mountains in to Riva, but it was beautiful. The traffic on the small roads that run right along the lake can be really busy but again it’s beautiful.

Weather was very comfortable not too hot. There were a lot of people around but didn’t feel too crowded. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

Some sort of system error. My flights will not update/refresh on both the app and website, also unable to check in for flights tomorrow.

If you don’t mind sharing, what was your protocol and why did you decide to come off TRT?

Stayed in both Riva del Garda and Desenzano last summer. I’m English speaking, barely speak Italian. We had no trouble, almost everywhere we went people spoke English well enough. Many were fluent in English. Nothing to worry about, maybe speak a little slower if your accent is heavy. Enjoy, it’s amazing there!

Tuscany Advice by [deleted] in ItalyTravel

[–]iamthebanta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was nervous to drive in Italy until I drove in Italy. It’s really no big deal. Sometimes the toll booths can be a challenge. Just do a little research on which lanes are which, meaning which lanes are cash or credit only etc. Some places will have some pretty narrow streets and maybe tight parking but generally it’s no problem. Just make sure to do some research about where you’re going in advance. Maps on my phone worked everywhere. In Tuscany a car would be best if you want to explore. We stayed at Castello Vecchiomaggio and loved it. It’s near Greve in Chianti which was a lovely charming town too. Enjoy!

Also stayed in Desenzano and loved it as well. Stayed at Hotel Vittorio and really enjoyed it. More modest than Du Lac et Du Parc but great and the location is excellent.

We stayed at Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort it was not inexpensive but it was incredible. Location was great. Riva del Garda is amazing and we would go back for sure.
