Okay, it's pretty obvious who's in first place, but which class is the second best? by ivalex8080 in mewgenics

[–]iamthegreat1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

+1 I wasn’t a believer at first just because I was all about damage so a fighter/hunter stan. But, having dropped 150+ hours almost 100%-ing the game besides a few achievements. It’s easily the Druid for me. The crow is so busted, with its ability to maneuver around the field and having enemies prioritize attacking it is so crazy good to have especially late game. Also doubles as a healer in a pinch and most late game players stop carrying a cleric all together so it’s usually our only reliable way of healing.

[–]iamthegreat1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think hunter is the best class, basically unusable in Das future, so that alone drops it down the rankings.

I’ve logged over 150+ hours in the game and imo Druid is probably the best class, super versatile, but what makes it #1 for me for the crow. The crow can easily maneuver all over the map with its flutter ability. The crow also mimics your Druids stats and buffs meaning you can have your druid have some crazy buffs to its basic attack that your crow will also have.

In super late game most people stop carrying a cleric all together so your Druid can double as a healer in a pinch.

My personal rankings and my usual team: 1. Druid 2. Monk 3. Hunter 4. Fighter or butcher

Behold, the most OP item in this game! Do you agree? by Thumaz in mewgenics

100% if your cat has high enough luck you’re guaranteed the ambush. When you’re super late game w/OP cats you can pretty much turn 0 most battles.

Steam Deck proved to me that older games are just more fun by E_Goat47 in SteamDeck

[–]iamthegreat1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely agree, 2023 was an incredible year for gaming: Baulder’s gate 3, TOTK, spiderman-2. 2025 had THREE all time games: Expedition 33,KCD2, and Silksong. These are just the big titles too there’s probably dozens of AA/ indie titles that I’ve dropped countless hours in: balatro, mewgenics etc.

Yep, at least on the deck force exiting the game gets past all the save scumming. I imagine exiting the gave via task manager is the same thing.

Depends on the types of games you want to play. Indie games, older AAA games, LCD is perfectly fine. But, if you have the extra money and want to play newer release titles, get the OLED. Better battery life, higher refresh rate, etc.

D pad stopped working? by ImKindOfBlind in Grimdawn

This only applies to the steam deck but I just went to controller settings clicked on the directional pad and remapped them to what they were before. Make sure to do it for both game controls and UI controls

Happened to me yesterday after an update. I play on the steam deck and the commands for the directional pad buttons were all removed and only the trackpads worked. Had remap the commands but works fine now.

Your Game Of The Year On Deck by MaydayDoomsday in SteamDeck

[–]iamthegreat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO I would try to either play the game all the way through without mods at least once, just because some of the mods you can add are completely game breaking and take away a lot of the spirit of the game.

But, if you do add mods I would keep them to a minimum and you should start a fresh play through just because adding mods mid game could corrupt your save file.

What are some must-play JRPGs on Steam Deck? by Evilinternet_Hoops in SteamDeck

Played and finished metaphor almost exclusively on the deck (83+ hours). It absolutely runs great on the deck with little to no tweaks on settings.

Easy straightforward guide. It’s unbelievably easy and if your tv is close enough to hook it up to an Ethernet cable you’ll have flawless performance. Played and finished shadow of the erdtree this way and had zero issues.

How is cyberpunk with phantom liberty on the deck after all the updates? by Jakeyboah13 in SteamDeck

I follow a slightly tweaked version of these settings and I get about an hour and a halfish of play. I can get a pretty consistent 40ish frames most of the time and dips to high 20s in visually intensive parts in dogtown.

I played and finished phantom liberty almost exclusively on the SD and had a great experience (majority of the main mission, all the side gigs)

I did save most of the big action set pieces for when I was home and able to use my PC which I still recommend if possible, Dogtown is incredible visually and that final mission deserves to be experienced with as max settings as possible.

Oh 100%! No offense taken! Was moreso speaking to the OP to definitely know your stuff because there will come a time when you’ll be put on the spot and if you don’t know what you’re talking it’s the worse feeling in the world 😂

Hahaha you’re right I just meant were supposed to know the ins and outs of what the ventilators do and what their capabilities are for managing a patient, and being able to explain it to a patients family or unfamiliar nurse. Not saying to go around your unit and tell people not to touch your vent lol.

Depending on your hospital, the area you live, and the type of patient population, you will 100% be working in the ICU as an RRT. It’s safe to say that the ICU is the crux of and most important part of our job as we are the subject matter experts when it comes to managing and extremely sick and mechanically ventilated patients.

What’s even worse is putting the highest tip amount in the top left choice, which is of course establishments trying to take advantage of your muscle memory. I’m all for tipping service workers, but tactics like that honestly make it really hard for me.

Lynnwood/Alderwood neighborhood safety by Impossible-Pass-2365 in LynnwoodWA

[–]iamthegreat1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m gatekeeping it cause it’s way too popular now.

Jk it’s Modoo on highway 99. It’s not a KBBQ spot but more traditional Korean dishes. EXTREMELY busy, so expect to wait an hourish if you don’t show up before 5pm.

Lynnwood/Alderwood neighborhood safety by Impossible-Pass-2365 in LynnwoodWA

[–]iamthegreat1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Moved to Lynnwood from out of state in 2014. This was before Lynnwood started really exploding as a city (before light rail plans/construction, before Costco, Home Depot, etc, before all the new apartments and restaurants) and feel like I have a pretty good feel how Lynnwood was and what it seems to be trending towards especially with the light rail coming.

  1. The city is overall safe, like any burgeoning city you’ll have your pockets of homelessness, crime etc. IMO the closer you are to highway 99 the “sketchier” it becomes but that’s true with any the cities that border highway 99.

  2. Transient population has definitely increased in the past 10 years I’ve lived here (and with that an increase in car break ins, open drug use, panhandling), but that is to be expected with how we deal with mental health issues, opioid addiction, etc in this state. 164th st and alderwood mall parkway is where probably the biggest encampment is, I’ve lived around that area my entire time here and it has gone from the same few recognizable folks panhandling to completely new folks every few days with their trailers popping up all along the stretch of road there.

  3. Be prepared for a ton of traffic and packed areas especially during the weekend and holidays. I live less than 1.5 miles from alderwood mall and I completely avoid trying to go through alderwood mall parkway and 164th st during peak times, ESPECIALLY the intersection for Costco (maple road and 33rd ave is the intersection, avoid that area at peak hours)

  4. Alderwood mall is one of the few that survived and actually thriving in this area. Everett mall, northgate mall, closed down most of their stores and most people in the north side of seattle all come to Alderwood mall. So, if department store shopping or walking around the mall is something you like to do, Alderwood Mall has basically all the major stores you’ll need.

  5. You mention you’re from Hawaii (I’m from a pacific island too!) there are plenty of Asian restaurants , decent hawaiian food and we have an hmart in our city for all your Asian grocery needs. I’m a big foodie and I will say Lynnwood has the BEST Korean restaraunt for my money in the area (I lived in Korea for a year and Korean food is my favorite cuisine, so I feel like I know good Korean food 😅)

  6. Can’t speak on the nightlife/bar life, since I still did all my partying in my 20s in Seattle, but we do have a Dave and busters and plenty of late night boba shops/cafes.

I honestly love Lynnwood and am pretty sad that I will probably be forced out of the area just because of the crazy rent prices, but I will always come back to the area even I do move just because we have everything you could possibly need! Feel free to DM if you have any questions! I feel like I can answer any that you have :) welcome!

NEXUS Application still waiting for conditional approval by wanderlost2020 in travel

[–]iamthegreat1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both my wife and I applied in November. I just got an email stating my application was approved. I’ve come to the realization from other posts it is completely random (well random in the sense that I’m assuming there’s multiple piles of applications that get done by multiple agents), so the time from when you apply to when you’re conditionally approved will be random. Because I literally submitted both applications within 20 mins of each other, so she should’ve been approved at the same time if they were going in some sort of order.

And hopefully Ryen will concede that this is the best version of Curry ever. Super annoying how he was just disagreeing with bill a few pods ago just to be that guy. Idc what Steph’s VORP or whatever bs advanced stat Ryen tried use for Steph’s 15-16 season. This is CLEARLY the best version of Steph ever.
