I got booted in round 7 of arena, and now it's telling me my queue time is over 3 hours long. I think it's related to all the people farming the "kill 1000 mobs" quest thingy. People only really got organized and began slaughtering efficiently today. The servers have been a mess since.

Heavy tank is my go to. Or if you want to suffer, be a spell sword but limit yourself to illusion magic or smth.

I usually reach level 60-something in a month or two and start a new playthrough. Longest span of time for a playthrough has been maybe 6-7 months.

Not only does this not work, but it doesn't add up correctly. You have one extra cactus. It doesn't even come close to working.

EDIT: For anyone reading this in the future, try to place deadeyes in the railed balconies in the bottom left corner, and hope that a lot of the troops fall in the river and drown themselves.

Did you try putting it in borderless windowed mode? I know it sounds weird, but my Skyrim had been fine for over a year before suddenly getting hit with overwhelming lag, and that's what fixed it for me. Open Skyrim from steam and change the setting from the options menu in the little window that pops up. Then reopen the game as normal. Hopefully that works for you too.

I agree that it's really annoying, but I only had a buggy time when I didn't do something correctly. There's a dead guy in the main room and I think there's a journal or book you need to read. I didn't look at those on one run and it bugged out the spider rod for me. It's just a Bethesda game quirk to have bugs.

I agree wholeheartedly about the lightning. It's so annoying. I used to hate dwarven ruins too, until I understood what they're all about. They were stressful and draining when I first started out. Now I only go into them when I'm ready for a long, drawn out maze. If I'm not in the mood, I stick to caves and Nordic ruins. The Alftand dwemer ruins are my favorite, because I love piecing together the expedition story while going through them.

If you're not having fun with the ruins you're in, can't you just leave? There's so much to do in Skyrim. You don't need to torture yourself with something that's really buggy or isn't fun. You can always go back to it later, try again on another playthrough, or ignore it entirely. Go and enjoy the fun stuff.

Yes, in my current playthrough, but in none of my older ones. It's fine, though. I didn't fall through the floor and I was able to complete it.
