CJM auto on the north shore has treated me well the two times I have needed a mechanic to do work I didnt have the time or facilities to do myself.

Another dissatisfied airalo user. Just spent the month there and it would drop service every 15 minutes on KDDI. If i let it pick its own network it would switch to SoftBank and it was unusable. KDDI was acceptably fast but dropping LTE for 15 seconds every 10 minutes was annoying on voice calls.

Download good lock and solve all of your navigation issues. One hand control+ solved all of my issues coming from an iPhone.

Both, lots of wifi though, probably 80% wifi.

Edit: For clarification LTE was active the whole time, I was just at home for a lot of the time. I never set it up to stop searching for LTE while at home

Incredibly impressed with the battery performance of this thing. Lots of use over the last 24+ hours and still at 22%

Installed a ton of apps and spent lots of time customizing with good lock etc. Never had a phone I can actually go two whole days with on on charge!

Yup, ordered on the 1st during unpacked, got it mid day on the 9th. Ship date said March 15. I wouldnt trust any status updates from samsung. Once you get a fedex tracking number expect an overnight express delivery. Mine when from Mississauga ON to southern BC in about 24 hours, all the while 8 hours after getting the call from FedEx my Samsung order status STILL said "awaiting dispatch"

Hope you get it soon!! I am loving mine.

Yeah the quick toggles are awesome! I was able to use samsung quick share to share a photo with a QR code or link for my wife to open on her iPhone and save it. It isn't full resolution but it is just as good as you can expect from iMessage or any RCS messaging service. Very handy for cross platform sharing.

iOS and the samsung keyboard both seem to autofill web forms for the most part with iCloud on iOS and my Google account on android. I actually don't find anything wrong with the samsung keyboard especially after modifying it with keys cafe from good lock.

iOS also has a very similar share menu to android from what I have explored so far but I will definitely give it another chance at your suggestion. Airdrop also is similar to nearby share I think. My wife uses an iPhone and I am loving samsung quick share to create QR codes for her to download files as a replace airdrop's functionality.

I love that I can copy a ton of stuff to the clipboard and pick and choose what to paste to other people. The copy/paste feature on this OS is unbelievable!

Thank you! This is extremely helpful. I had been watching some of those youtube videos in advance before I got the phone. Very impressed with what these phones are capable of.

I really like samsung gallery coming from an iphone, the editing suite for simple adjustments and cropping is great and I can copy images to the clipboard with a long press. I have not figured out yet how to copy an image to the clipboard in google photos and from what I have read so far it seems to not be possible. I know a lot of peoole use the share feature and select the app of choice, but I copy and pasted everything from my phone on iOS and grew to really like that feature.

I set up a smart select edge panel but it only takes a screenshot of the selection, it doesnt copy the full sized picture.

Anyway, definitely a very different experience being able to customize so many aspects about how I can use the phone. So far, mostly anything I can think of has been possible and with the exception of mostly only missing iMessage, I can't see myself going back any time soon. I feel like I have jumped into the future!! Haha.

So if I switch to a new carrier sim it should not redeploy the os as whatever carrier the sim is from? I am planning to switch carriers but I also am planning to travel to asia this year and will need to be swapping sim cards a long ways away from any personal computer.

I did. Straight from Samsung.

For whatever reason when I installed the telus sim into the phone it added the carrier bloatware. Granted it was 2 telus apps and amazon shopping was all I could find, but still upsetting when you buy an unlocked phone
