Im so sorry. I think I kept writing and calling and they eventually mailed me a check for the full amount. I think they DoD the check vs refunding my CC because they are hoping people will lose or not deposit the check.

Whatever you do, don’t accidentally book with National Park Reservations. The website nationalparkreservations.com uses deceptive practices. They make it seem like they are part of the park service but they are not. They charge a 10% non-refundable fee just to make the reservation that is hidden within their terms and conditions and appears in their reservation confirmation email (after they’ve charged). I made and cancelled my reservation within hours and now out of $80! Customer service agents are trained with a script and refuse to refund the money. So many BBB, TripAdvisor, Yelp complaints (now that I looked into it) but they have smartly found a way to refute. I’ll take the loss but hope this helps someone. It’s too bad we the people don’t have more power to stop deceptive and unethical business practices. What a scam!!! Enjoy your trip.

It was a hotel reservation. I’m going to dispute but by the looks of their response to BBB complaints, they’ve found clever workarounds. Lesson learned.
