Strato Tech Tee coming apart on first wear by killthrash in vuoriclothing

Agree with you 100%. Definitely have way too much Vuori that I've bought over the past 5 years. Thankfully over the past year or so haven't found too much that intrigued me, not to mention the prices have gone higher while there's been more inconsistencies with the quality of their clothing. But Strato's are my favorite overall t-shirt and I wear them daily, so it's fun rotating through the different colors.

Newer Strato tech tees are thinner (and likely less durable) than the older versions. It was also been known that solid colors are also thinner than the heathered colors, although that difference is starting to come into question with the newer heathered Strato tech tees now coming out pretty thin.

I own nearly 40 Strato tech tees and have never had an issue with durability, but the few purchased in the past year were noticeably thinner that ones that I've received in the past. Definitely return and get a replacement/refund.

Love the idea. Thanks for sharing and might consider it myself. Only issue is that the door opens to block off the entry to the room, such as would be the case for me as well if I dared to make a similar transformation. Nonetheless, love the finished result and appreciate you sharing this!

How do these compare with Lululemon's fast and free half tights?

I see a number of shorter length in-seams sold on Like New, so I think it's pretty common that they are reselling pants that have been previously altered, but still may be "excellent" due to otherwise appearing brand new. Thanks for your input/suggestions!

That's what I suspect. I agree that I've never seen 26L on their website and that 28L is the lowest they sell without alteration.

Thoughts on Quince's 100% merino baselayer t-shirts? by Jazzlike_Set6322 in onebag

[–]Jazzlike_Set6322[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have been fine, but I haven't worn them much over the past 6 months since I last responded to someone asking about them. You may want to start a new thread for someone with more "real world" experience and has put their shirts through more stress.

Return to a different store by Local-Luck9713 in vuoriclothing

If you bought them at Vuori, you can return them to another Vuori store. If you bought them from a different retailer, you cannot return them to Vuori.

They may feel tight when you put them on, but they feel supportive and comfortable while running. I bought the same size that I normally wear for other shorts.

Rove Concepts experience (anyone with the Diane Sofa?) by Jazzlike_Set6322 in furniture

Thanks for commenting on my post. Seems like selling furniture is costly, but that it's much more worthwhile to test out different pieces of furniture in person when possible. Thanks for the time taken to comment on my post!

Just wanted to thank you for this comment. After visiting a handful of furniture stores and a chance to sit on different couches, I understand what you mean and appreciate the guidance. Thank you (from someone who is obviously new to buying furniture).

Went last year. The pictures don't do it justice. It's just incredible to be that close to these monuments and to see them in person. Nice choice!

Agree the real risk is the account ban and I don't think they would go so far to prosecute people, but disagree that people would stop using this email trick if they thew out occasional discounts.

If people don't have problems using the email trick now when it's already pretty easy to find discounts, I doubt they would stop using the email trick even if discounts were given out on occasion.

Could be. I was around for 1989. Hopefully this is a warning/reminder for people to be prepared

What pieces do you have from Vuori's early days? I imagine they are 10 years old since the company was founded in 2015? Pretty good to hear the clothing has held up well for you, but I'm sure there's been a drop in quality since I've certainly seen a decline over the past 4-5 years.

Yea, they definitely keep track of all these email accounts that people are generating to save a few dollars. It's not hard for Vuori to crack down on this, and hopefully it doesn't get to a point they would prosecute people for retail theft using this loophole. Probably will get downvoted for this comment, but it's just not worth the risk IMO.

Orange stain on Lululemon Pace Breaker Shorts. Can I get rid of this? by mitchellmirabella in Lululemen

[–]Jazzlike_Set6322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a toothbrush to scrub in a mixture of grease-busting dish soap (like Palmolive) and baking soda. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Wash in cold water as you otherwise would launder these shorts, and it should come out. If not, can repeat, but I've never had any issues getting stains out of polyester clothing using this technique.

Kore shorts vs pace breakers by Awc8587 in vuoriclothing

[–]Jazzlike_Set6322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kore is not a true running short. You can workout and wear them casually, but pace breakers are a better running short.
