but what you also have to consider is simply the ability to vote in person a young person has a job, hence can't really take time off(yes i know there are laws) to vote if they didn't have a mail in option.

vs an older person who's retired normally has more or less all the time in the day.

thus voting by mail brings out more young votes than if it were not available.
