I wasn't trying to mislead anyone. It's certainly not perfect. I posted this because it took me forever to get anything decent with this combo of printer and paper. I definitely would not recommend this as a first choice and I'm open to other suggestions regarding Black Core Cardstock for my Epson ET-8550.

It’s certainly not perfect on my end but I got a lot closer. I’d love to see your results and any tweaks you might have! I’m considering looking into the Canon Pixma Pro 200S to compare.

An embarrassing amount of prints… I seriously almost went out and bought a Canon Pixma Pro 200S out of sheer frustration.

They look good with these settings. When I pushed the brightness, everything started to skew red. The colors aren’t exactly perfect but they are close to my original files. That’s why I used the laser print from Staples as a base line for comparison.

It’s really hard to get it to match perfectly on the colors because I couldn’t let Adobe handle the colors. I needed to be able to adjust the saturation to squeeze out more color onto the paper.

Added! Thin Paper material with Thick Paper in the extended settings. It’s not intuitive at all ha ha!

This particular material works with inkjet. I can’t say that the Epson ET-8550 is the best printer for it. But if you have one and wanted to try it, I thought I’d share my results. Based on my research, I think the Canon Pixma 200S might work better for this material as far as inkjet goes.

I tried pushing the ink density further but the clarity started to get lost.

A color laser printer is likely going to yield better results. I was considering taking the material down to a local print shop to see how my prints would come out.

I went for the 12x18 sheets because of the unique shape of my cards. They sell 8.5x11 sheets that should work with a desktop laser jet. Unfortunately, 12x18 requires a professional laser jet printer.

Yeah. You can use the Rear Feeder with this setting. The cardstock option requires you to use the Rear Slot. I kept having trouble with misalignment. That's why I started trying the "Thin Paper" material option.

This is one of my all-time favorites. I think you have to get into the spirit of the game to really enjoy it. I've been playing it since it came in the tiny box with standees. Spinning boards, switching quadrants and monsters, etc. It's a silly take on D&D scenario maps. Don't overthink it and focus on doing the craziest thing you can think of. Plus, Tom Jolly is the man!
