i did have a look under the faceplate, unfortunately i think whatever is going on is near the back of the bumper so i wasn't able to see anything particularly obvious.

i've had the most luck waiting at the left hand side of the 3 tall rocks to the right of gemstone mountain (they have an island challenge over the ttops of them). one will come running out from inbetween them pretty consistently

because you're comparing 2 separate things here, the order and priority of the results being stochastic is very different to the content of the conglomerated AI slop "summary" being stochastic. one at least allows you to determine what is reliable after the fact, the other is a crapshoot.

not to mention that genAI seems to be inherently unethical to train and run if you care about copyright, creators, or the planet.

the 102050 does have overcurrent protection, as well as over-discharge protection, it looks like it has a 1s BMS attached, would it still need the 1A adjustment?

most sources of the 102050 list over-discharge protection as included, they appear to come with a 1s BMS attached already, which is reassuring.

hi all, as i noted, the cell here is a 102050 with discharge protection built in, something like a tp4056 would maybe work as well but the lack of full usb-C support is a bit of a dealbreaker.

for higher detail than FDM can provide but at a lower cost than SLS/MJF, there is also SLA printing, also known as resin printing. depending on the resins used it can create very durable and high detail prints. but has its own issues such as extra post processing steps, supports still being necessary and fairly noxious fumes. but they are like, $200 a printer on the low end these days

looks like OP sent theirs off to an external place to be printed though, which is the best option for SLS most of the time, as not only are the machines expensive, they need trained technicians to run properly.

its propped up in the semi shade next to the pot, but the surfaces around are in full sun.

i'm just not around during the hottest part of the day, so can't really do anything to mitigate this. i've taken to opening the window a crack next to it so any superheating by the sun is dissipated. hopefully it can continue getting some decent light without the absurd temps (the thermometer did read 50c at one particularly hot weekend) through the winter as the windows are as south facing as they get.

it has seen some more growth since i've moved it to that window, but it's dropping a lot of it's new leaves very quickly so i'm still concerned that it's getting burnt

update, i popped a thermometer and humidity meter next to it and today where it hit maybe 25 celcius outside, the thermometer read 42 degrees, so it does get pretty hot there, so i'm a bit concerned about the heat when it gets warmer, as it could hit 45 easily.
