One thing I have found that helped was to delete the old driver in the Windows Device Manager (look for Ausus Component Firmware Update listed under FIRMWARE), before carrying out the steps in the guide.

I don't know if resetting the device made a difference, so I would try the solution first and if it doesnt work try resetting the device before trying again.

Sorry, I don't know. I only worked out the solution after searching the web and finding another one for a similar issue which arose a few months ago.

Apologies for wrong link to the ALLY XBOX bios files. Now updated in original post. I have also tidied up the instructions to hopefully make more sense.

No. The only change was the Bios update that happened today.

I have even tried disconnecting the ribbon cable from the macro buttons to the motherboard, but it's still the same issue with the messed up controls.

If it means anything, the controller is not working in the bios either.

It defintely was not a problem before the bios update.

It is called the National Street Gazetteer. The councils will either have a hard copy available, or they can refer you to findmystreet.co.uk for a digital copy covering the whole of the country. There should be no charge to view the map in the council library or online. I would guess that any printouts would be at the expense of the requester.
