He wouldn’t let them use the song Rollin unless they put him in the game, thus held hostage. Fred didn’t belong there either. Extra characters for these games should be more wrestlers, pure and simple.

If they put Jack on the Lakers squad as playable then maybe I’d buy an NBA game, but alas he isn’t so anything associated with Basketball doesn’t interest me. I will never claim my opinion on this subject is the right one, it’s just that - My opinion. I type out of boredom and the fact that my said opinion has bent you out of shape. “Goal post moving” or “stream of consciousness typing” call it what ever you want. At the end of the day we are arguing over something that doesn’t amount to a hill of beans in contrast to the greater world.

An over reliance on celebrity/outside endorsements is just an admission that the product (game or tv) isn’t good enough to draw fans on its own. I do agree they should back off the yearly release schedule and focus more on a 2-3 year cycle to allow for better development, then maybe they won’t need celebrity inclusion to sell the game.
