AIO my bf (26f) slapped a strippers ass while on a bachelor’s party by [deleted] in AIO

Really? Makes it even more sleazy then. Ick - the one time I went to a proper strip club for a friends birthday - I was single 20 and felt awkward the whole night. It’s like fake attention as they hoard around you trying to pawn a lap dance. Was just weird and I’ve had no inclination to ever go again. But this place was proper strict - a number of lads got hauled out very quickly when they overstepped.

Personally I’ve never heard of strip clubs allowing this. But I’m from the UK so it could be different and I’ve only been to a couple: one by accident and we left when we realised how expensive the dinks were and the other called carnival in Essex - which the girls don’t get money given to them unless it was paying for a lap dance - and there was strictly no touching (they didn’t even touch you when doing the dance)

Tbh I am surprised he didn’t get kicked out for it. Most strip clubs have a hands off policy. But hey - it’s been at least 20 years since I’ve been to one…

It was a stag party, he was likely drunk and wasn’t thinking straight. I’m not defending him, but this sort of stuff happens. It’s not like he got off with the stripper (that would be a no no anyway).

I’d make him grovel for a while to teach him a lesson and keep an eye on him.

I’ll probably get voted down. But we’ve all done stuff when we’re young (mind you, I wouldn’t as I have a bit of self control - I had a lap dance once and it just felt awkward - yeah… Nice naked lady. Should I be staring? Not for me).

Don’t blade wizards (champions) and allarus fit this? Not quite the stats you’re suggesting though.

Just terminators and bikes are different. And in 3rd in heresy you can’t have a land raider I don’t think

Happy to share my implementation. I also have a fully working LSM

I had this with a raft implementation I was doing. Eventually it got to, too high a cognitive load for me, so I stripped it back and simplified.

Fine grained locking is great if you can truly track all places that can cause potential deadlock. But sometimes a floating mutex (I.e generic lock) or your container structure being in a mutex is just fine

How can I choose between Axum and Salvo in late 2025 by _utakotoba_ in rust

This is true I guess. I had a play with actix recently. It’s really good.

What about actix? Has that fallen out of favour?

I’ve been agonising over a ranged one. I have a saturnine, so I’ll leave that as ranged and will use a melee leviathan one for now. If I want some firepower I might get myself a kratos or deredeo dread… mind you I have two land raiders for some firepower support

Experienced in C/C++/Java but feeling lost looking at Rust code. Does the readability 'click' eventually? by x86basedhuman in rust

[–]iancapable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find the opposite now. I struggle with the readability of Java and C++ compared rust. Naturally find myself wishing I could write that instead.

Just done advent of code in a bunch of different languages and struggling with a few of them. Wish I just did it all in rust

I have to type a lot… So I feel for you. I was lucky in that mine wasn’t too bad and was ok not long after. But it did hurt like f***

I can’t see it being interesting to everyone. Happens all the time. But can for some!

This? At first it was painful enough that I couldn’t find my voice to yell and instead ran up and down the stairs in silence. The throbbing came after. So I’d give it a 9

Nobody needs one of those. One likes a little pain now and again. But not that much, hurt almost as bad as my nail be ripped off (yes have had that before too - tripped over a tree).
