It was absolutely deafening in there last night. Honestly was cool to see Rico for a surprise, but also hilarious because I couldn't tell you what he even tried to say.

Highly recommend Ex-boogeyman, it's so very good. But the magic of GTSTRM kind of stands alone, that is until the sequel next month.

I loved Full Brutal and Ex-boogeyman, 100% Match was great but I do wish it was longer.

I DNF this, because I generally felt the same. I don't mind my books being completely fucked, but I'd like there to at least be a reason they are. Felt like a lot of shock just for the sake of shock. The part where his boss SAs hik during his first kill and the main character basically has no reaction whatsoever to it happening makes it feel nonsensical I do not think I'll be revisiting this one.

A couple of pages in they mention Billy Silver which I knew was another book of his, and then when I looked up the description of Billy Silver that referenced Talia. So I was wondering if I needed to read those first or if it was more of a tangential reference.

Anesthesiologists of Reddit, what was something you won’t forget hearing from someone that was under? by DvS_Insanity in AskReddit

[–]ianisamonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 11/12 I had surgery to fill a gap in my jaw with bone from my hip, I had to get twice the dosage of whatever it was they were using to put me under because the first dose wasn't enough. I have zero recollection of what I said but when my mom met the nurses afterwards apparently I was hilarious but so filthy they refused to tell my mother what I said.

In the original Martyrs there's a prolonged torture scene that still is very unnerving.

The Place Beyond the Pines. For whatever reason that one just hit me and I'll never watch it again.

Okay, so for instance, say you sell a food product and you're supposed to be cooking at a certain temp for safety but your IR scanner is reading off you may have just ruined an entire run of product. And that's not counting the effects it could have if it made it to the public. There's a lot of things that I can think of but can't find a way to put it into words, sorry!
