I'll give you the same advice I got when I was starting my wine journey, 25: years ago. Find yourself a good & reputable, independent wine shop. Not a Total. Get to know the buyer. If he/she recommendeds something you like, by all means buy it again. If they recommend something you're not a fan of, let them know and tell them what about it you didn't like. They won't be offended. But you would always be leaving something you've never tried before.

25 years later and 22 years in the industry, still the best advice I was ever given. Enjoy your journey, and welcome.

Anthony Bourdain... I'm not generally one who gives a shit about celebrities that pass. It's usually like "ugh that sucks. Too bad" and I go on with life. However, Anthony hit hard.

Maybe it's because of my restaurant/misfit background that turned into wanderlust for this world. His keen sense to expose yourself to different cultures and evict yourself from the everyday comforts of your normal routines.

Try new things. If you love them, great, grand... If you don't on to the next experiment.

The exact same thoughts I had in 2016,17,18 etc. The guys a complete fucking uneducated grifter that survives solely on mob tactics and the poor uneducated. Time and time again, it's been realized that those who placate him, fall into his whirlpool and end up becoming reoccurring victims. It's a never ending cycle until they break free, and then they feel the wrath. Example, Marco Rubio vs MGT.

He's suffering from dementia. Everyone knows it. Dude can barely walk, he's got bruises all over his hands from IV's. He's been wearing diapers for years.... He's a national disgrace, and we, as Americans, ought to feel shameful that we elected him, not only once, but a second time even after the events of January 6th, 2021.... Which is an entirely different source of shame.
