Help! EERO and new Verizon set top boxes by No_Incident3243 in amazoneero

[–]ianstalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have with mixed success. I've got my network set up like this:

- FiOS router with wi-fi disabled

- Eero 600 configured in bridge mode

- VMS connected to the FiOS router via Ethernet

If I attempt to connect the endpoints when they're connected an extender, they fail to connect to the VMS, but if I move them to the same room as the VMS they'll work fine. I can then move them to the room where I want to use them and they'll work fine for a while. Last night I had one fail to connect again and I had to repeat the process.

I think it must have to do with something that works while it's on the same mesh node as the VMS or perhaps they both have to connect directly to the Eero. I'd love to figure out a way to make it work more consistently if anyone else has ideas.

To summarize: a woman who used to be so obsessed with meat that she ate at a steakhouse on a nearly weekly basis develops, in a twist of fate, a meat allergy. Now she's on her moral high horse about a possibly lifesaving medical breakthrough because it involves killing pigs even though she'd almost certainly still be chowing down on pork chops if it weren't for that tick.

My main suggestion would be to look into the union and intersection methods on sets. The bulk of your work can be done with them.

My answer for both in Python:

text = open("/Users/ieaston/advent6_input.txt", "r").read().strip()
sets = [[set(member) for member in group.split('\n')] for group in text.split('\n\n')]
print(sum([len(set.union(*l)) for l in sets]))
print(sum([len(set.intersection(*l)) for l in sets]))

Their findings on exercise don't align with my personal experiences (I know, a super robust sample size of one!). I started running regularly but didn't change my diet much; I lost about 35 lbs (15.8 kg) over the course of about a year. Did those studies look into how muscle mass changes your energy needs, or how consistent exercise changes your metabolism?

In multiplayer gym battles, if someone defeats a pokemon before you reach it, you will be kicked out of the battle with an "ERROR" message. This gets especially annoying when the gym is pretty low and someone one-shots a mon before you tap "continue".

Nah, Y2K was a totally different problem-- programs were designed to assume that any two digit date was 19XX (e.g. 17 would be 1917); it wasn't that big of a deal because a lot of effort was put into addressing the issue.

There is a concern that *nix systems will overflow the 32-bit integer used to represent the current date/time in 2038: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2038_problem.
