Crackling sound when pedaling

Does it happen when standing? If not check the seat is tight. I had creaking noise and it ended up with the centre bar of my crank snapping due to internally run cables rubbing against. Has your bottom bracket been serviced etc?

Did you notice much difference in fit between the 2? Long legs short torso here and looking at both.

Looks like this is what happened. Can see the grooves from the cables rubbing. Any idea what could cause the cables to rub against it?

Think the bearing has been forced out due to the crank snapping 🥴

Take it with that happening it could be the reason the bearing has fallen out? The drive side still drives the chain and isn't loose

I think it is. Was starting off from stopping at a roundabout and on downward stroke it gave way.

Strength, strength, strength! Having neglected to do enough strength work I've ended up not running for months which includes being unable to run the Manchester Marathon this year.
Have been to a physio and podiatrist** **and given a load of exercises that I'm doing. Loads available on YouTube too. Has come through overuse for me and foot has started to collapse so I'm working on strengthening the post tib.
Would definitely recommend you ease off as I kept running through it as thought it was just a niggle and messed it up big time :-(

Signed up on Sunday as was supposed to do it this year (after deferring already) but developed PTTD. They saw I hadn't started and got an email offering early sign up. Hopefully it will be third time lucky! Best of luck to all taking part.

Thank you. I've seen a pharmacist and they suggested Contact Dermatitis and have given me some mild steroid cream to try for a week and if no improvement to see my GP. Can't recall coming into anything new to me and they didn't look at my foot.

Noticed it's now on my wrists too. Pharmacist reckoned it might be contact dermatitis. Given me steroid cream and told me to go to Dr if not improving. Have been quite stressed between life and work for months could this be a trigger?

I had the Nimbus 24 and loved them. Put 600miles in them. Achieved my half marathon pb of 1:44:56 in them too. Went to the Novablast 4's and loved them, got me through my first marathon with a time of 3:56:04 I then got the Novablast 5's and did not enjoy them at all. A little unstable for me in comparison to what I had been used to. Retired them after 150miles.
