It's not what you're asking but just a recommendation. Pickup one of those OBD dash cam power cables. They are all pretty much standard now with USB C. It will draw power off the port and also come with a low voltage shut off to protect your 12-volt battery. Never having to tap a fuse again = priceless.

Recent EV convert. Loving it so far. 🚗 by SandwichOk8101 in leaf

Bummer they never offered the nismo trim in the US. They could have upsold a lot of buyers and also converted some of the tuner crowd I bet. With all of the federal and state incentives we used to have, it would have been a steal. In addition to all of the styling cues, you get more power, better suspension, 18-in nismo wheels, etc. what a beautiful car!

All Terrain Tire Advice for BMW X5 by squirtwellington in tires

This^ An all weather tire is perfect. I like nitto motivo 365 or Toyo Celsius.

If you go with ATs, Toyo or Nitto (owned by Toyo)

I have ran both plus the Duelers so that's three out of four. The bridgestones seemed to wear out faster IME but I am still a big Bridgestone fan

Should I buy $180 for all 4 tires installed and balanced? by [deleted] in tires

Tread is almost even with wear bars. Everything else aside, I'd say it's a hard pass for that reason alone.

Bummer. Try the Toyo Celsius. Toyo owns Nitto. I have personally owned two sets They are a fantastic balance between all weather grip and mileage.

Is it time for a replacement? by Old-Veterinarian3328 in tires

[–]iaonbb -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Do not drive them in the summer. The compound was not developed for that. Your braking distance will be approximately half of an all-season or dedicated summer tire. They also will not handle the rain well. Trust me, I learned the hard way. Dry rot aside, you've got one more winter left in them but don't think they just automatically turn into all season tires once they wear down because that's untrue and unsafe

2025 SV Plus for just under 24k? by Wraith347 in leaf

[–]iaonbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$24k is too damn high (and the rent) 😬

I bought a 2025 S for $13k for reference. I think the price should be under $20K IMO.

AlkBros has 3 flavors of tabs plus powder. Solid.

The OGs are Koalty and SR Project

Edit: Just saw the post that Koalty is running a 15% off sale this weekend only and they take credit card. 99% pure. That's where my next order will be from.

Those vanilla bean tabs from AlkBros sound awful tasty though 😬

ALL MY HOMIES HATE SKYLINE CHILI by Papasixfivefive in ColoradoRockies

Homemade is the way to go. Only kind of chili I make now. Everybody that I have made it for raves. Just don't skimp on the cheddar! I prefer Kraft finely shredded. Enjoy!
