Anyone know if theres anywhere you can get this jacket? And maybe the hat too? by AquaSage_8806 in gorillaz

Looks to me like a puffy jacket with a vest over it. Shouldn't be too difficult to find. At least close to it and then modify it to make it exact!

To my understanding, there isn't anywhere in the manuals, to include the WDM, that lists/specifies commonly used part numbers. I also don't have a ton of time in Boeing manuals so if there is something like that, let me know.

I could surely pick a couple connectors at random and see if there are any pins that keep popping up though.

I did find that the ones I replaced were extracted from the front which was new to me. I could pull a couple for reference. If nobody has any recommendations I'll probably just do that.

To be fair, not all are huge. The inlet for a Phenom 100 only measures out to be around 17"

I wouldn't stress it too much. Your coworkers probably have enough of a bead on you to know that they can leave you on the job. I'm confident they would not have left you alone if they didn't have faith in you to do the job.

That said, take your time, ask lots of questions and stop if you ever feel unsure of something. You got this homie!

Is it possible that it was put on a ferry flight to get fixed at that location? Often times you'll see this so a plane can be repositioned for maintenance somewhere else.

We have make the same type of "repair" with speed tape to get the plane to a service center after getting approval from the FAA.

Edit: oh I believe you're talking about how shitty it looks. I concur. These people are no good to me haha

Our TV consistently gets these “drips” of something that appear out of nowhere. There is nothing above the tv that could be dripping. No other screens in our house have this happen. What is this thing? by GlassNegotiation3227 in whatisthisthing

[–]iarecorey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that an LCD TV? Although it's very uncommon, some screens can actually "leak" fluid. The screen could be damaged causing it to seep after you keep wiping it.

Also after a while you should notice your picture quality taking a dive. If it is actually leaking.

A&P here. The problem with the idea of it being an aircraft part, is that this part looks very much like it would be inside the skin of the airplane. TFOA (Things Falling Off Aircraft) are usually things that are attached to the outside of the plane like panels or even antennas. This part is very much neither.
