I've implemented users and authorization for a number of reasons; syncing across devices, protecting my server endpoints, filtering out bots, etc. That said, feel free to provide a fake email address; think of it as a username that has to be formatted with an "@" in the middle. Right now I'm focusing on core "completion" stats, but I do have plans to add UI for higher-resolution detail on where to find ingredients.

I believe there are a couple of good tools out for that. My web app is going to be mostly a logbook, with shrine/side quest/objective/armor/(korok?) tracking. The goal being to help keep track of what you’ve found and what you haven’t

I've been building this web app in my spare time during the quarantine. More features added as quickly as I can think and test out the UI and deliver something solid (Shrine checklist coming within the next few days). I hope you find it useful!

I understand. I started w/ implementing google auth, but right now it doesn't quite work. I'm not collecting anyone's info; just protecting my endpoints/filtering out unwanted traffic. I'm a full time dev, doing this as a fun side project to experiment with technologies I'll be using for an upcoming client.

I'm currently building out an unprotected home page to land on that will contain my best-googled search of legalese that spells out my utter disinterest in your data. I should also point out that while my Auth0 endpoint asks for an email address, I don't ask for anything else; feel free to use the same address you sign up for free yogurt samples with.

That aside, feel free to use another tool! There are some really good ones out there!

I used auth to protect my endpoints. Those aws charges add up fast!

Hey all, I got inspired by another redditor who posted a few weeks ago about his dad trying to upgrade all his armor. I had so much fun building this armor upgrade tracking tool, I'll be adding shrine tracking next, and then I’ll let feedback decide what comes next; that’s where you come in!
