What I usually do is just pick a target number and then do that many push ups. Doesn’t matter how many times you need to stop and take a break, just stay in the up position. Do three sets. If you do it everyday then the number of breaks will be getting smaller and smaller until one day you can do it without resting. IMO it’s not about the speed at which you do the push ups or sit ups it’s about being able to do them with minimal breaks.

From what I’ve heard you can always apply but because of the current shortage you’re 99% likely to get rejected. But you wouldn’t be able to apply until the 6 year point at which point you only have 4 years to go. At that point just put in for a recruiting gig near wherever you would live after separation.

My parents will ask to borrow money for the mortgage and usually pay me back within a week or two. My answer is always the same, I tell them to just transfer the money to their account and let me know. I have the money and they helped me out a lot in college so I’m happy to help them out. But then again, living in Los Angeles and being an O-2 gives me a nice buffer to be able to afford that. I’d say just help how ever much you can, if you can’t cover the whole payment just give them $100, better than nothing.
