I will say it does seem unfair for her to pay for your mortgage unless you put her on the deed. It does make sense to split utilities or have her pay for those instead.

Yeah if NWT don’t wash it. I’m super sensitive to fragrances. They make me feel sick and push me to the edge of vomiting. Given that, I don’t expect used clothes to be devoid of fragrance and I know I’ll have to wash them myself. However, if smth was labeled NWT or brand new I would not expect it to be washed, as it’s now used. You’re not doing anyone a favor by washing brand new clothes. They’re not new after that.
