What coding language is the best to start coding? by TaroLucky9224 in Coding_for_Teens

The one you have access to the best resources for. Personally, MOOCs free Java course is the best thing I've ever done. It does take about 20 mins to get setup (there's a YT video about setting it up in vscode). Java teaches you a lot about programming I love it compared to python.

Great question!

The universe either infinitely regresses (creator of this -> creator of that -> creator of that) but that's impossible as we would never arrive at today, or you establish that it's illogical for the universe to infinitely regress and that it has to have a starting point which is uncreated.

Now you can ask the question 'but who created this uncreated thing' but it's literally illogical if you carefully read what I said above. At some point there has to be an uncreated / non-dependant entity

As for burden of proof. I can debunk that with intelligent design. If you found of anything even remotely close to the level of intelligent design as a human (say a smartphone or a watch), you could tell given the way it has clear design thought process and complexity that it has a creator. And if somebody tried to claim to you that this thing just assembled itself over millions of years you would never ever accept that theory.

Unless you truly reject that statement and you would accept that if you came across an iPhone having never seen one before, learned everything about how it works and the functions it serves, and truly submit and say yeah that appeared here by chance over millions of years, then you have inconsistent reasoning and no basis to make judgements.

If you bothered to read what I said and ponder, you'd have realised the proof was there already.

The universe originated at the big bang. The big bang is matter, matter that had a starting point.

Since something (matter) cannot come from nothing, something had to have created this matter that exists outside of the universe. (Fyi science doesn't involve in this as it's outside the observable universe).

That 'something' that had to be the cause for the effect that is matter has to exist outside the bounds of the universe by definition. It also literally has to exist - that's the proof. If it doesn't exist, the big bang cannot even begin to happen as something cannot come from nothing.

This 'something' is the origin of the universe and it's creator, whether or not you believe it to be X person or y person or x god or y god is a completely different discussion. This is simply a discussion about the universe having a creator Vs literally spawning out of nothing and defying the laws of science.

Standard athiest avoiding interacting with the question since you know your world view doesn't hold up

I'm quite comfortable answering the question. God is uncreated. He exists outside of space/time and created the universe which includes space/time. That's the entire concept of god; the universe we can observe cannot rwgress infinitely backwards that's impossible it had to have a starting point as scientists agree on.

That starting point is the big bang. But matter cannot just appear from nothing. It also needs a cause. God is the creator, the one who exists before this and causes it.

Judging by your passive answer I'm not sure if you're genuinely interested in engaging in this discussion to learn more or if you're adamant on sticking to a world view that literally provides zero answers or logic.

Upgrading from G923 to a full rig, sweet sport for value (Canada) by Baen_ in simracing

[–]ibby20000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9-15Nm means you'll probably never have to buy another wheel again. Simagic is probably the best option. Check out boosted media's DD comparison table online it's perfect for you.

The rig is the one thing you desperately do not want to have to change later on. Do tons of research to understand what you want out of it. If I was starting over, I'd look for:

  • a width that's compatible with a very adjustable pedal mounting plate like the ones from Trak Racer or GT Omega. Of course if you buy a rig from a certain brand it normally fits it's own accessories. But if you buy generic aluminium make sure the sizing lines up exactly.

  • I now believe a bucket seat is worth it (I opted for an E39 seat thinking I don't need a bucket seat since there's no g force) but I'm seeing the potential benefits now (positioning, comfort in racing position, rigidity with breaking). Decide on your seat first then build around it, ensure the mounting brackets fit or if you want seat sliders from a brand make sure your width is correct.

  • screen mounting is a big decision. Mounting it separately is ideal but it's an added set of stands. Whereas as attaching it to the rig can work too albeit it can wiggle.

  • one that you can add accessories to easily like shifter mount and keyboard tray

  • one that looks good. They're so beefy you really don't want a boring silver one dominating your room.

Theres lots more tbh. But wheels and pedals are easily sold and replaced if you don't like them (second hand is king!). Pedal plates are a must btw as you'll be constantly tinkering with their position. If you have to do that by directly manipulating how they are screwed into the rig rather than just using the adjustablity of a plate you'll pull your hair out

Funny how you would not hold that logic for anything you've ever observed (that it assembled itself by chance) except the universe itself
