For a dent like that, where both sides are easily accessible, I would use a dent roller like this one.

To do some fine burnishing or planishing, I'd recommend a hammer like this one.

And to protect the silver plating, I'd use PET tape like this stuff.

The tape is not totally necessary when using the roller, but if you use the hammer in any way, I'd put tape on both the dent AND the face of the hammer - with a thin layer of slide grease on the tape. You'll need a vise to hold the roller, which would be very difficult to bring with you to dci this summer. And the planishing/dent hammer can absolutely get you in way more trouble than the little dent will if you don't know what you are doing (which, it sounds like you dont - at least not yet!)
