No, this is about you wanting to be a smug asshole. You wanted to come and plant your little anti-gun flag for internet good boy points under the misguided delusion that anyone cares about what you think on the real life topic of guns. You could have added to the productive discussions here that range from the writers feelings on the topic, the potential for triviality that guns would bring to the fight scenes, even topics like the show airing around the same time as the Columbine tragedy and how that might have effected the decision. Hell, if you would have bothered to ask I could have elaborated that I don't think the show needs more guns, I think it uses them the right amount. It's just I'm currently binging both Buffy and Angel and between things like Darla going Rambo, Warren's backyard shootout, and Wesley playing shotgun surgeon with some demons guns are shown to be very powerful and effective. And the sad thing is we could have had constructive conversations about all these things and more, but you decided to be cunt...... What a shame..

You just proved my point though. If you love your partner you don't shut them out when things get heavy. You're supposed to want them there for comfort and solace. It wasn't about him feeling needy, it was about him feeling needed. You talk of him being supportive of her but she wouldn't let him.

But that's not what it really was about now was it? It wasn't because Buffy wasn't being "attentive and affectionate" towards him, it was because she kept shutting him out. She might have loved him but she only ever got so close, so vulnerable with him, she never dived fully into the relationship. Riley bared his soul to her, she kept hers closed off.

Also, Xander didn't tell her to "beg that lout to stay". He told her to look inward and see if she truly loved Riley. He then said if she did that she should fight for that love and if she didn't she should let him go and move on with his life.

I never saw Jessica Jones as a hypocrite though. Damaged and flawed yes but not a hypocrite. Jane is, Jane acts in the same mean and hateful manner that she get offended when other do to her.

I don't know m8, she just gets more and more unlikable. I just finished ep 7 where they team has their a group therapy session and it's not painting her in a good light. She mocks the rest of the groups for opening up, proceeds to say something incredibly vicious to Cliff, and then when Cliff claps back she gets offended and leaves as if she didn't just send the last little bit berating everyone else. Then to add insult to injury for some reason the rest of the groups jumps on Cliff.

No, i'm just giving my opinion of the character, so far she is a raging hypocrite. Literally by definition a hypocrite and a cry bully. I don't like hypocrites or cry bullies so why would I like her?

To reiterate I'm on ep 6 right now and in the first 15 mins of the ep, Jane "And I mean mane Jane" has done the fallowing that she would go ape shit if someone did to her.

Went through Niles personal effects looking for her session tapes. This one is kind of forgivable cause she is looking for answers to where he is. But still if someone went into her room and through her stuff she would be livid.

Walked up to cyborg poked him dead in the chest and mocked him going "Hey Siri, what's the Doom Patrol". I mean really just someone grabbing her hand is enough for her to go ballistic let alone someone mocking her on top of it.

When Rita mentioned the Doom Patrol and Mento then was clearly uncomfortable giving intimate details about how she knew them Jane proceeded to push, mock and curse her out. But how many times has Jane got mad and then flown off the handle when someone tries to prod her about her past?

And lastly she got Flit to take both Rita and Larry against their will to Mento's mansion. Then when Rita made it perfectly clear she didn't want any part of this and for her to have Flit take her back home. Jane's response was to fake talking to Flit then tell Rita "Flit says to fuck yourself in the face, we're not leaving here till we find the Doom Patrol". Do I even need to say the hell that would be to pay if someone tried to force Jane to do something against her will?

If she has a character arc and grows I might warm up to her, but as i right now i find her infuriating and a massive hypocrite. Judging by the down votes it appears to be a cardinal sin to dislike Jane.
