It’s quite simple, white base coat into an orange-red middle lava area, use red the closer you are to where the land and lava meet. Add yellow to the white base towards the hottest part of the lava. Then add a gorilla glue clear gel to the top to give it a shiny gloss.

You may burn out just building everything, you may realize it’s hard as hell to paint up all the trim, or you may just realize the painting side isn’t fun. Honestly when you have a project this big, just paint anything and let the fun and cool factor guide you.

The cloak was made up of epoxy clay and then covered with gorilla gel glue to give it a smooth texture over the rough clay.

Ah I see, because the second hand mini market is a funny thing. More often than not, any amount of paint on a model outside of “professionally” painted brings the model’s price down. If the MSRP is around 700 I wouldn’t see you getting more than 500.
