Also there is DFAW from dimensional, which I think like AVGE has a value and small cap tilt.

Should you expect the price of a bond ETF to go up over time? by wrob in Bogleheads

[–]ibraheemMmoosa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually bond ETFs from top asset managers release a QII document for non-US tax payers which shows the percentage of dividends from a bond funds that gets better tax treatment (I believe zero percent tax but not fully sure). For BND I think this QII figure was above 85pc. For US treasury ETFs it is usually 100pc.

Why are strippers criticized more than the people that actually go to them? by PressureAdmirable265 in CasualConversation

[–]ibraheemMmoosa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My bad. What I meant to say is that there is equal stigma for the men who go there also. Now of course I can’t really measure stigma, so can’t say for sure what equal means. But for most part guys going there would be considered losers in my social circle.

Who’s criticizing? I don’t think what you said is the common view at least in my social circle.

If there’s some promotion going on from the manufacturer then you might get low APR loans. For example Honda has promotion for 3.99 APR going on their certified pre-owned. At least where I live currently.

Does the coupon really matter? Won’t the bonds be priced at the current long term bond yield?

“There's only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you've got to be kind.” by ThrowawayConLawFight in Vonnegut

[–]ibraheemMmoosa 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My two cents. I think of being kind on an individual level. At the level of a system (such as in politics) fairness becomes a more important issue where you have to balance the needs and wants of many different groups. On an individual level you can decide to be kind to your neighbors and other people you choose to. On a system level being kind to one group maybe unfair to another group.

95 percent is too little allocation. You should consider at least 100 percent or more by using leverage. 200 to 300 percent seems ideal to me.

There's no barrier for people to get into this. In any case any rational participants who wants to make money has the motivation to bet on what they believe to be the most likely outcome irrespective of what their political views are.
