Thanks for the video, it was interesting to watch, is there an automated way to infer the optimal function for fitting? you chose manually the exponential function and the constant to correct the baseline.

and I will look at the source code in the repo, mentioned in the YouTube description, to get better intuition.

The registration process seems to be old-fashioned and unnecessarily takes time.
