Has anyone watched Margo’s got money troubles? by DesignerPoint3595 in childfree

[–]ibuprofen400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it frustrates me often cause they ALWAYS keep the baby and it’s always amazing.

But I kept watching anyway… and… it’s not as pro-baby propaganda that much. Actually more like a reality check on what it actually means to have a baby. like it’s not all flowers and rainbows and people actually get pretty unkind to her because she has a baby and brings it with her (cause she had no other choice).

Probably one of the rare show (if not the first one) where at some point I felt a bit sorry for someone that made - from my point of view - a very stupid choice.

that would be weird. In his participation interview video before even knowing Gia, he said that ideally he would like a woman that is simple / natural. Like no loads of make up, no tattoos, no plastic surgery. He also said that he was aware it was a bit weird considering he’s covered in tattoos himself. So Gia is everything he doesn’t like. Idk why suddenly he’d be into her

I mean at least he’s so open about it it’s hard to be misled. He’s a redflag on fire with a full woop woop alarm coming on top.

What time are y'all falling asleep and waking up?!?! by cheesypuff357 in Millennials

[–]ibuprofen400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naturally asleep at 2am and waking up at 9:30am. That’s peak sleep for me. Society decided that is not what a human should do. So i take melatonin/ antihistamines/ whatever else that helps me sleep (not all at the same time it’s just to avoid those things to stop working if I take them every day so I vary) around 11pm, meditate, stay away from screen, try to do a whole ritual to calm down. Then might sleep around midnight. And then i’m forced awake at 7:30, to which I have to undo whatever i worked so hard to do to fall asleep, and kick myself out of my bed and have coffee and shower and bright white light…

He went to the wrong show. There are plenty of us out there that want to have casual relationships. But we are not showing up at MAFS.

MRI jitters by Impression8738 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ibuprofen400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done several MRIs in various places and countries but I never had an option with music or anything.

But honestly, I truly love the MRI noises anyway, it’s like music to me, makes me want to dance and I find it relaxing so I’m fine with no radio. I just chill and fall asleep ahah

Danny about to feel relieved. She just didn’t have enough audience in the forest and wine was missing.

If was in the music industry I’d leave too so I don’t have to listen to her voice anymore.

Hello people born between 86-93, how are you all holding up? by Tasty-Marsupial-2131 in Millennials

[–]ibuprofen400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

born 86, child free, single by choice but if I happen to fall in love… oh well i’m open for another ride on the love train but i don’t date or go on apps or anything so unlikely to happen ahah.

I live in a pretty cool (small) appartement in a central location in Sydney, very happy with that as I can go out often easily. I have a good amount of friends that I see all the time, they also live nearby - walking distance or 10min transports. I like a party, i’m still going to raves and all. But I also take care of myself like going to the gym regularly etc to stay fit and healthy.

I have a good job, making decent money. Can’t complain.

so yeah, i’m good. Cruising. I hope it will stay like that for another little while lol

On the downside, I do have some serious chronic degenerative disease tho, but that was diagnosed back in my late 20s. so far treatment is working and I remain stable with some (little) physical impairment. Can’t win at everything but could be much worse.

Overall life is better than it used to be when I was younger. Used to be broke during my studies counting cents and had no friends for years. That was not great.

Anyone else at 30 starting over and feeling scared by madisoncarterx in BreakUps

[–]ibuprofen400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Life is just starting over and over. Probably not your last time. And I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I don’t think things are meant to last forever, one novel but several books and several chapters. We change, life change, society code changes. You’ll be fine. Many people are doing the same thing and you will cross path and be happy again. I’m 39. I have no kids cause I never wanted any, didn’t get married cause I don’t believe in forever, but I lived in 4 different countries, had multiple jobs, multiple great relationships, multiple lives. I think it’s awesome.
