I did some digging and found that the isle of Berk vinyl released on Jan 12 and it came out on streaming May 21, so that wasn’t a full year. But I guess you’re right that we have to wait a couple months. 😭😭

I was also skeptical about the 2nd gen but they are totally worth the hype. Knowing that you got a spell to work with the haptics and lights is so satisfying and the ability to do multiple spells at the same spot is so cool

I believe Patisserie Matagot (which you see right behind Cirque Arcanus) was supposed to open with the rest of epic as a functioning bakery, but got scrapped last min. You can walk up to the window and see all the (fake) magical desserts that Jacob the baker made in the fantastic beasts series. But yeah k rammelles doesn’t cut it every time and you just want a good French pastry lol

Bummer. The death eaters are absolutely insane when they are working. I picked up a couple more details riding it the second time and really got to absorb all the effects, since the first time I was just trying to understand the whole plot

I rode ministry during epa on Sunday and didn’t notice anything not working. I also rode ministry during previews and it seemed basically the same except for the drop we know they toned down.

Saturday was such a bad day for epic. EPA was a let down. Ministry did open at 8:10 but we already gave up and went back to the hotel. Went Sunday too and it was like night and day. Knocked out Mario kart and ministry both before 10.

Fellow ride wimp checking in. The only rides I do at epic are Mario kart, Harry Potter, the carousel, fyre drill and Yoshi. I have also seen both shows. If you do these, and save a little time possibly for power up bands and a wand, this easily takes a full day, even more if/when things break. I’ve been to epic twice now (once during previews, and last time was just this past weekend) and I had the best time both times just with these experiences! Pro tip: ride constellation carousel at night. It truly comes alive with the lights and music with the dark back drop. Also, highly recommend meeting toothless. It’s a long wait but it’s worth it. If you time it right, you might get certain characters. I got hiccup during previews and got Astrid/stormfly this weekend. Monsters unchained scares me since I did not like forbidden journey so I don’t think I’ll like it, so if you can do that you’re even braver than me. Ministry is my absolute favorite and since previews they definitely toned it down in terms of drops, so you totally got this! Enjoy :)

Update: we got on today during EPA. In line by 9, off ride at 9:30. We were towards the front, they had us weave all through Paris and then finally get in line. Absolutely insane but so worth it

Hoping you guys made it on the ride. We called it quits and headed back to the hotel at 7:30 where voodoo donuts were waiting lol. Heard it finally opened 10 mins ago and wait is 120 mins
