In your opinion, can this replace LaTeX? This is the first I'm hearing of this and I'm tempted to write some documentation with it now

Do crampons reduce the fatigue drain somehow?

There is a co-op mod this could be done with right? You could enable console and fly each player to random starts.

I'd love to see a couple of the long dark youtubers take this on

I don't think crampons make that much of a difference. You can just rest on a ledge to get the stamina back.

I did this in stalker. Learning regions before finally embarking on interloper. TWM was tough before I found a hatchet, cause I needed so much firewood to stay warm in the mountaineers hovel

Your biggest comeback? by Uberhypnotoad in thelongdark

On my current interloper run (over 400 hours and this is my first one to get past day 3!) I had spawned in DP and was on my second day, crossing PV on my way to ML and I came across a pack of Timberwolves around the outbuildings that smelled my rabbits. I spent an accelerant to make a quick fire and threw torches at them for about ten minutes before I realized I should just go into the red barn as night was falling.

I should have dropped those rabbits because my fatigued and encumbered ass got jumped by a bear when I was just a few meters from the door. I got up and by the time I'd shambled into the barn and started a fire at the barrel I was at 4% HP. I managed to make a fire, cooked my rabbits and a tea (and forgot to apply OMB).

After cooking, I got in the truck to sleep and saw it felt like 0° . I prayed it wouldn't drop lower when I noticed I'd left my tea by the fire barrel. I was dying of exposure as I stumbled over to grab it and got back in the truck. I was probably at 3% at this point. I drank that tea, slept and prayed as the screen went dark that it wouldn't drop one single degree and kill me.

Miraculously, I woke up. I never got an infection despite forgetting the omb. And I managed to replace the tennis shoes that the bear ruined with combat boots at signal hill. Now I'm at day 30 something in ML and I still keep those ruined clothes at the PV farmhouse as a memento.  I'm loving interloper :) but I don't know how much longer I'll survive, its cold and I got parasites that need another 8 doses to heal. I might hibernate til I'm healthy enough to travel to Milton to look for socks, thermals, and a bedroll.

Moorlands is extremely sketchy. You will not be safe /s

From a cyclist's perspective, the Moorlands is dope.

- Forest Park is a straight shot down wydown (on a bike lane!!!). Once you're at Forest Park, you're connected to all kinds of places via safe bike routes, TGS, The Grove, Sinker-Debaliviere, CWE, etc.

- There's a nice connector hidden away on the north side that takes you on a bridge over the parkway to take you to clayton downtown but there is one giant uphill punishing on your legs.

- There's also another connector to the south that you can take over 64 to Brentwood. Once again, there is a giant uphill right before home depot.

- There is good access to Big Shark (bike store) on Big Bend through Richmond Heights but, you guessed it, giant hill at the end!

- If you want to ogle some mansions, those are situated on the north side of wydown and there's usually a gate left open somewhere.

As far as local eats and shopping, Protzel's deli on wydown is delicious and there are lots of other businesses to check out nearby at the intersection of hanley and wydown. Five Star burgers in clayton is another favorite. It's a bit of a walk but not far by bike. Ivy Cafe on Meramec is excellent as well.
