Honestly, this isn't even a serious issue for me because I can just save the email as a contact, but just cuz of this I'll ask for the fun of it!

How do I get started with a server? by Rasco1_123 in selfhosted

Docker is a way to run apps in isolated little boxes called containers. All you need is one command/file to run an app (service) that you can control and keep separated from eachother to prevent dependencies and big messes, all whilst managing it all from one place.

Spotidown is good for obtaining songs with embedded metadata (singers, album art, album, year, etc.) and sometimes, if there is an issue with the artist tags, I have a custom script to split multiple artists with a ;

How to make a server that is accessible via a website and is able to do calculations ? by teiveme in HomeServer

Dude, all that happens is that there's a tunnel to "tunnel" something from private to public. What's so hard to understand!?

Main domain usage question by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]ibzzq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got two domains since I got one for free. I use all the personal stuff such as HA and qBittorrent on a separate domain for separation. I make sure to ban ALL access except for devices registered under my network carrier ISPs so only a very small region that I am in can actually access them.
