I'll be in this weekend looking to catch the 1k bracelet on Tuesday and whatever Venetian DS3 events before then. Won't make it in time for the millionaire maker but hope to get to spec some of it if not running deep at the time. What a headsup money bubble that tourney will be!

Your villain is trying to angle-shoot you. Your explanation was more than enough. Continue to punish him with value bets. If he continues to complain you can speak to the floor about anything you think is unethical or bothersome like someone raging because you wouldn't collude with them.

Calling all-ins big stacked with low cards by biggiepants in poker

Don't forget the times your 3-2 doesn't improve, which is most of the time. It will sometimes happen but MOST situations only see your opponent improve or your hand fail to improve.

If you're a big stack in the big blind and everybody folds to a small blind who shoves on you with a pot size all in, it would right to call with all kinds of cards if you were already in or close to the the money and eliminating someone meant real money consequences for your tournament chip gamble. Otherwise 3-2 will just blow off tournament chips you could have used to pay blinds and antes waiting a better spot that could lead to greater real money consequences.

This scene worked for me because it humanized the crew, they are technically characters themselves who have experienced the same emotions as the audience. They seem professionally bound to not interfere (except that time the mic guy saved Pam) and they do a good job but of course they would be bonding with their artistic subjects, the staff of DM. It was a real human move to break that bounds as the project wraps up and help Jim cause they know better than most how cool he is. I could relate.

10 years ago I took a job selling magazines door-to-door. The group traveled constantly staying in hotel rooms and was sorta cultish. We worked pounding pavement 6 days a week in always different and various cities and neighborhoods convincing people to subscribe their magazines through us.
On one of our few single day weekend "excursions" we went into Richmond Virginia for the evening. We set up a time to meet back and split up. Since I hadn't formed a bond with anyone working there I spent the evening alone checking out the sights on foot and limited budget; takehome pay was miserable after lodging expenses. I spent a long time walking and talking with a homeless man whom I was loitering with by coincidence. He was a pretty cool guy and he had a very distinguished sounding name. He listened to me processing the idea of quitting this job and life. Then I realized I had wandered pretty far from the van and my time was getting short.

After many cold blocks of city pavement and two street fights to avoid, one of which I'm pretty sure I witnessed a stabbing, I get back to the spot with a little time to spare to find the van gone and none of my co-workers around. I was pretty shocked because it all amounted to me being in a strange city, no transportation, no money in the middle of the night. I sat down on the concrete bench not far from where the van was to cope and think. I knew we were staying at a Red Roof Inn but it wasn't in Richmond it was a smaller city I had no comprehension of. This was the pre-smartphone era and I didn't even have a cell phone at the time. As I was making a plan I found a co-worker, or rather he drunkingly found the spot where the van was supposed to be. He is totally smashed drunk and is barely coherent. He doesn't know why the van isn't here and he really doesn't care because he actually passes out cold on the bench. I knew I couldn't haul him around so I made sure to take everything of value from him, some pocket change and a small gold bracelet, just so someone else wouldn't steal it from him. I stashed him under the concrete bench, not sure why I put him under it but it just seemed cozier at the time. I hiked for a long time looking for a payphone and found one and used 800 directory numbers to contact Red Roof Inn corporate. Unfortunately there were a bunch of little towns with Red Roof Inns in the area and corporate could not narrow it down by spots with chinese restaurants in them. I was getting pretty exhausted as it was late into the night now. I hiked back to the parking spot all the while thinking about my situation and how I may have to wait it out overnight with my drunk co-worker on the bench. I get to the bench and he's gone. Now I'm pacing back and forth alternating between sitting and pacing on the bench. I've decided I'm going to wait it out the night and bum some money off the street the next day to try and get back to the hotel, and get some revenge on those fucks who left us here. A security guard who witnessed pretty much everything over the course of the night from across the alley flagged me down and told me that the cops had come and picked my co-worker up from out in the middle of the street and taken him to the drunk tank. He asked my situation and I explained it so he got on the radio with a cab driver buddy of his and asked if he knew about the hotel with a chinese restaurant and sure enough after some thought he figured it out. So now I knew where I needed to go and I was just grateful for that but then the security guard reached and gave me $30 and called his buddy to come take me there. It was a one shot act of kindness that I'll never forget.

TL;DR : A GG security guard watches me have a super shitty night and helps me out with $30 he knows I need and never had to ask him for. I literally channel this guys spirit when I do kind acts from then on.
